I'm with Ashley. I never saw any of the Josh eps until after I saw Emotion Sickness and StD, so I went into the whole thing as a KimRon shipper. Now that I have a better perspective on the series as a whole, really there is no reason to dislike Josh since while he was around Ron had no real claim on Kim's affections.
Jar Jar should be suspended at the point where the Death Star beams converge.

I became a KimRon shipper around the time Fearless Ferret premiered, I didn't see any Josh episodes until after that, and I like Josh, though. Of course, I've never written him at all.

MrsDrP - Lillian/Lilly. This gives a "Possible Pun-name" of Lilly Possible (Really Possible), or Lillian Possible (Really Impossible). I've also assumed for her a maiden name of Credible (picked that up off of a thread somewhere, can't recall which site exactly), which gives a pun-name of Lillian Credible (Really Incredible), or Lilly Credible (Really Credible).
Of course, it also works as a Harry Potter joke, which was my original intent. The Possible Puns just came as a happy coincidence. ;D
Mr. Stoppble - Elliot, first name of his VA.
Mrs. Stoppable - Andrea, first name of her VA.
Yeah, I wasn't feeling very creative with those two...

If Mrs. P's name is even close to Lily, I'll die, because James already is the same name of James Potter in Harry Potter.

I named Kim's mom "Anna" just to be a little different. Ron's dad, I guess we're almost all thinking alike. I also chose Donald, as the remaining common boy's name that works with the "Unstoppable" pun. For Ron's mom, Judith seemed like a nice Jewish name, but Dad almost always calls her "Judy." Hanna seems like a similar idea. Regarding the quality of Ron's parents' parenting, there's a whole thread about this somewhere in this section. I've tried to make a little bit of sense of them in my stories. If the "pregnancy" interpretation of the season four teaser is correct, they should have a two-year-old at the time of my stories. I'll consider writing one in if this happens. Now that I think of this, if CP3O was an original creation of Anakin's, why do we see so many nearly identical protocol droids in episode 4? Did Vader spread this droid style, or was CP3O made by Anakin from a "do it yourself protocol droid" kit with a common head and body form? It's hard to do a prequel twenty years later and master every detail. |

I didn't see that episode until long after I was a shipper, but it really did reinforce it. With Kim in trouble, Ron stepped up and made a VERY competent hero!
I do like Donald the best for Ron's dad, but I didn't want to copy everyone else. I thought Gene/Jean made a neat little gag. I briefly considered making Eugene Ron's middle name, but decided against it. In one important scene Kim is supposed to repeat Ron's full name, and all she says is Ronald Stoppable. That's not too implausible - I didn't know my wife's middle name was Deloris until we got a marraige license. (I'm willing to bet there is not a single person on this board who knows my first name - Nelson's my middle)

I do see the Stoppables as bad (incompetent) but not evil parents. So, I've never used them. They are absent a lot anyhow.
