She, the police, and the zoo’s entire staff have combed every inch of the area, but it seems the thief hid everything pretty well.”
“So they want us to find the loot before the thief returns and takes it away?” asked Kim.
This is the part I don't get. They know the thief dumped the loot at the zoo but no one can find it? Doesn't make a lot of sense. Needs more explanation.

Slight change-
Rufus will now have Mystical Monkey Wolverine Power, because wolverines are small creatures - well, not really, they're actually about the size of a small bear - but they're insanely ferocious and strong (one wolverine can take down an animal as large a moose, and when grizzly bears would rather avoid them...yeah), so it'd fit with Rufus. Also, it's easier to come up with ideas for an unmorphed power with Wolverine Power over Naked Mole Rat Power - I mean, what would one get with Naked Mole Rat Powers? Enhanced blindness? C'mon now...
So as of now, the setup's like this:
-Kim: Red Ranger; Lioness Power
Power while unmorphed: Claws, enhanced senses
-Ron: Yellow Ranger; Mystical Monkey Power
Power while unmorphed: Enhanced Mystical Monkey Power abilities
-Wade: Blue Ranger; Dolphin Power
Power while unmorphed: Biosonar (Echolocation), Dolphin Leap
-Monique: Green Ranger; Chameleon Power
Power while unmorphed: Camoflauge
-Rufus: Pink Ranger; Mystical Monkey Wolverine Power
Power while unmorphed: Superspeed and enhanced strength, enhanced Mystical Monkey Power abilities
And eventually, joining them down the line will be:
-Bonnie: Black Ranger; Swan Power
Power while unmorphed: Swan Strike (shockwave of wind from flapping her arms like wings)
-Tara: White Ranger; Pony Power
Power while unmorphed: Stampede/Power Stomp
Anyway, hope to have a chap. 3 cookie up soon!

Chap. 3 teaser:

The world around her was more vibrant, it almost threatened to overwhelm her. She was electrified, energized, completely rejuvenated - and then some. She’d never felt as strong, as fast, as fierce. And as Shego charged her and her fingernails grew longer, curved, and thickened—
CLANG!
The look of stunned shock when Kim’s newfound claws crashed against Shego’s was all Kim needed to grin. “Thought I was down for the count, eh, Shego?” she snapped as she fought against the green-skinned woman’s strength. “Well, I haven’t even begun to stack the decks yet. Hiya!” She wrested an arm away and slashed furiously at Shego, catching the villainess across the face with a ferocious snarl.

EDIT: I have also edited Chapter 2 a little bit further. Now, instead of just being a pale, green-skinned woman in a green-and-black jumpsuit, I've made it so Shego is now a pale, green-skinned woman with patches of black scales scattered over her body like the patterns of a snake - and instead of clawed gloves, her hands are actually claws - making her much more of an actual monster creature.

Because I'm oh so bored, I made up a logo for this fic:  and a chapter 4 cookie!
“GET AWAY FROM MY FATHER!”SLASH! Claws swiped over Shego’s arms, causing her to back up in surprise. She just barely regained her footing when a low snarl came from behind her. Shego whirled and caught Kim before she viciously slashed at her again with her claws, grabbing ahold of the teen’s arm and throwing her about four feet away. “Kim!” The rest of Team Possible gathered around their leader. “You okay?” “Yeah, I’m fine…” “Hey, look! It’s Team Possible!” a bystander cried. “Oh, goody! It’s you again, Princess! You who couldn’t beat me last time!” Shego hissed. “Oh, yeah?” said Kim, another low snarl escaping her as she picked herself up. “Well, I’ve learned a few new tricks, snake-woman!” She stood, and brought her Lightning Morpher into view. “Like this one!” “What? A morpher?” Shego gasped. “We’re gonna put you and your Lord back in that Space TV, Shego! Ready, guys?” The others brought their Lightning Morphers into view. “READY!” “Alright! Let’s go mission mode!” “POWER RANGERS: ANIMAL LIGHTNING! STRIKE!”
