Read this when it first came out, quite interesting. I'm wondering how they are going to wind up (of course, hopefully together ;D ). Good read so far. I do like how you've handled the AU so also.

Yvj, you're one awesome writer, I discovered you in About a Ron and read a lot of your KP fanfics from there. Man did you go a long way since your first efforts!
There's not much to discuss yet, sadly. That piece is still picking momentum, we're not even out of the intro. The narrative is entertaining, the characters convincing. You tend to favor Ron a bit too much for my tastes but in this fic it may be more a feature than a bug. One of the points of this tale is that Kim would have been a pretty sad, boring person if she had never met Ron. I guess without Ron's humor her POV would be a bit boring.
But if Kim has it bad without Ron, it's nothing compared to the mess that is her could-have-been-sidekick. That guy depresses me. Maybe because he hits too close to home; I was a lot like the Ron you depict in your tale. Well, not THAT bad actually, but close enough to really get in the way of mye enjoyment of this story.
Without his boudless love of life and indestructible optimism, Ron is a sorry excuse of a human being. His humor is as great as ever though!

;D You better believe it! It took me awhile to find a writing groove, and I'm still not completely satisfied. Hopefully I'm improving with every chapter. Thanks for the kind words though I appreciate it. I apologize for this. It is actually one of my weaknesses but it so much easier for me to write for Ron I guess its becoming a a crutch. Sadly it's a bit difficult for me to speak for Kim  Well maybe if you stick around things might eventually work out for the best  I agree Thanks again Thank you very much. Your compliments fuel my desire to please the readers. Wait did that sound weird? |

I love your stories, I love how you seem to so naturally take Kim and Ron, completely in character and put them into new situations. I would like to see you try and write a chapter strictly Kim, no Ron for just one chapter.
