Joke? Really? I went to Freshmen orientation at my high school, so it make sense to me that Middleton High would have one. Well, usually they have it before school even starts. I know mine back in '02 was like a week or the Friday before. I can't remember, nor do I wanna check. Well, mine was only a half day on the day before the first day of school. Thus why I thought this episode was the first day of school. (shrug)

Great start to season 4. Dementor was a good choice for villains.
Here's to hoping Kim's battle suit doesn't become a deus ex machina. Like Dementor said, it makes her uber.
Only 3 nitpicks:
Ron in football. I really hope he isn't doing sports all season. I think it would take away from his character.
Rufus' voice seemed off in this episode. It was back to normal in The Big Job, so maybe Nancy was just getting used to it again.
Kim's Battle Suit. I think fans expected to see it following StD, but using it makes the missions way to easy (for Kim at least). I hope it stays on for important missions, but it really shouldn't be used as a standard.
Oh. the ep. gets a 5

Excellent way to begin a long-awaited fourth season! ;D I couldn't resist watching online the week before. Hey, I had done over 14 months of waiting to find what happened after "So the Drama". I felt I deserved it. "Not the End." Very funny. K/R-we got some stuff with them, but not at all overdone. That was the one real thing I was concerned with, that it would be all about romance, it would start getting all mushy-but no. Loved that they kept 'em both IC. Wasn't bothered by pretty much anything here. Loved the battlesuit's role, loved the K kiss on R, loved seeing Ron play football ("Who would park there?! ;D), loved Dementor's role, loved Kim and Ron's little fight, loved...well, a lot! And great way to end it with the credits! "So that one with you water-skiing over a shark?" ;D Didn't get the joke at first, though; I'll admit that. 5/5! Not my favorite eppy of all time, but it is my favorite of the four premieres. I love both of the "Ron-Subjected-To-Off-Screen-Violence" moments (catching the foot ball and attacked by the cat). The football one cracks me up and the "who would park here?" is so funny - mad props to Will for coming up with that addition to Ron's line on the fly. I've often seen questions of "what did the stars come up with/add" and it's often hard to recall, but that one is a stand out. Unless I'm remembering it wrong. ;D

Wow, the results are overwhelming! 73 out of 82 people voted "5". Awesome! ;D Yes, loving that. I mean, I realize I'm getting some bonus love just because it was the first episode in like, forever, but it's still nice that it came off so well and has been so well received. I mean, come on... how lucky can you be to have both "Emotion Sickness" and now "Ill-Suited" on your KP resume? In both cases, I won the "story lottery" - thanks to Mark, Bob & Tom for handing those stories down to l'il ol' me to sort out and execute. Do I hear a "booya"? ;D ;D ;D

Most of it is because it's just simply the best episode so far. Period. At least in my opinion... Of course, it's tied with The Cupid Effect, now.. but still...

Where is Tara? I mean, one would think she would be around. Maybe she came to her senses and ditched Bonnie. Maybe Tara's having an incredible epic adventure searching for Josh Mankey. Well, okay, probably not.

Well, okay, probably not. Oooh! Maybe Tara met somebody over summer vacation and they moved to Canada! Even that's far fetched. Cloudy, what's say we go have an epic adventure and search for Tara?!

I think this was the best of the set. I wish Drakken had gotten a little more time in the set, but oh well. Dementor really is funny, in his own way. The end fight was absolutely great, them chatting as boyfriend and girlfriend while they fought. Rufus turning the tables on Dementor was great. "I am enjoying the exquisite toture that is the crab walk." (Ron) was also awesome, as was Barkin. Brick taking 7 years matches what Bonnie looks for in a guy. clearly not personality. 5/5 no question at all.

I wonder - was that seven years as a MHS student (making him 3 years older) or seven as a senior? Plus, how the heck was he eligible to play football?

That's what I infered. I really wonder too. I mean, you have to make a C average to play football, unless you live in Texas. Kidding.

Ehhhh I am so late to seeing this episode!! I know that most things I would have to say have already been said. But oh well, I'll just make observations rather than a review.
The final act in this ep was one of the funniest finales. I was honestly in stitches the whole time.
"Do I look like I am fooled by your mouthful of lies? NO!" Ahahaha I don't know why that cracked me up so much. XD
The pop culture references really amused me as well. Apart from "All your base", it was Ron squeaking "Oil Can" when paralysed that made me giggle.
As for the Jumping of the Shark, I think it was all the more amusing when you look at the relationship between KP and Clerks:TAS. Which led me to wonder whether this was actually move of a reference to Clerks, rather than Kim Possible itself?

Which led me to wonder whether this was actually move of a reference to Clerks, rather than Kim Possible itself? There was alot of concern that we had "jumped the shark" by having Kim and Ron kiss - could the show sustain itself for a fourth season? Or had we really gone too far? So having Ron make this reference was really a nod to the fans and all that (needless?) concern. I really fought to get that line in... well... I don't really recall much resistance, but I definitely wanted to get that in there.

LOL.
This episode was my mum's favorite. I asked her this morning.
I wonder why.
