I couldn't fit the question mark in my question sorry about that. Any who what do you guy's think? Could it work is so or would you rather see it be animated? I think a live action movie could work. It would be awesome to see those Shego/Kim fights in live action. Also more times between Ron and Draken please! I love it when they say the same lines and do the same things with each other. Any who; thoughts on this people?

Yes, they could. But would they do it right? KP is easier to "translate" into live action than many other cartoons, but if they ould announce a live action film for...let's say 2006/07, I would be scared of the result. I think someone who really loves the material should make that film (Like Guillermo del Toro did it with "Hellboy", for example) and seriously...Disney only loves the money. They will put Lindsay Lohan in it and change the whole concept

Personally as a filmmaker I would love to see and if I could direct the KP live movie. I also think it could be done, but a fan of the show mus be in the driver's seat so it does not let down loyal fnas like the ones on this board. I hope someday I can convince Disney to let me have acrack at it. The story, characters, humor, action, romance, and all the great story elements are there. Its just someone stepping up and doing it right.

I heard that the script for So The Drama was originally intended to be a live action movie. But when Disney saw the costs, they made it animated instead.

Thats a cool idea, I'd just be worried about the casting of the characters.

They should cast Geoffrey Rush to play Drakken. He's an awesome actor.

I would rather not have a live-action KP anything (movie or tv series.) If there's a theater-released feature movie, I'd rather it be animated like the show. I'm sorry, but even with CGI help and everything, there's no way a live-action movie could ever get close to what the animated look presents. The camera shots for a live-action version would, even with additional help from CGI "cameras," be limited due to the immediate grounding of reality; The exhilaration of the fight scenes would never get anywhere near the feel of the animated ones; and etc... Even if it was done by the same crew as the show and got close to the feel of the show, I think there'd be a lot of people - me included - sitting and watching, just constantly feeling "Something's wrong here..."
Now, remember, this is all my opinion. However, also note that my opinion on this topic is a pretty fairly strong one, at that... I'm not saying a live-action adaptation would immediately be terrible - I'm just saying that, at least in my mind, a live-action version of KP would never work the way the original show, "Sitch in Time," and "So the Drama" worked.

Definitely Lindsay Lohan for the lead. How 'bout Jake Gyllenhaal for Ron?

Definitely Lindsay Lohan for the lead. How 'bout Jake Gyllenhaal for Ron? I don't think that Lohan would be right for this role. Gyllenhaal would be cool, but he is too old. PS: I would demand Vincenzo Natali or Flrent Emilio Siri on the dorector's chair (Co-directed by Steve Loter. )

If there is a live-action version of KP, and Lindsay Lohan or some other crappy actress like Hillary Duff (that's right, I said crappy actress - so far, both Lohan and Duff's track record of movies, TV, and music has proven to me one thing - neither of them can act or sing their way out of a friggin' toddler lunchbox) is in the role of Kim, that alone would disgust me so much I'd vow to never watch it. I'd hope the people putting together something like that would have the brains to look around, audition people, and find a cast of competent actors and actresses who would be worthy successors to the thrones of the animated show's VA's.
And John DiMaggio would have to keep playing Drakken in a live-action version of KP as well. Nobody can replace his performance.
And that's kind of another reason I'd hate to see a live-action version of KP - there's just no way a lot of fans would be able to accept new actors and actresses in the roles they grew to love when those roles were portrayed by other people. If Michael Richards had been fired halfway through the run of "Seinfield" and the role of Kramer had been given to, say, Matt LeBlanc - "Seinfield" would've just gone down the tube. If Kelsey Grammar was yanked and the role of Fraiser given to, oh...Sean Williams Scott - "Fraiser" would've been dreck. That's the main reason I have trouble with a live-action version of anything that was originally done animated - you just can't replace the original group that made that original piece so successful in the first place.

here some think why i dont think it will wont work out good 1)Who going play as Kim and as Ron its got to be some one who sounds like them and look like them abit not just some fanboy 2)its going to cost a lot 3)it may go down hill like The Tick LA did 4)we dont have the technology yet. But we Get the scientists working on the tube technology immediately.....jk /Cid

I really hope they're not making a live action movie for KP. Unless, in the original animated series, the characters were drawn in a more realistic way (a.k.a X-Men, Justice Leugue, etc), it could work.
If there's going to be KP: Live action movie, it's going to remind me of the movie called, what was it?... "Bucky and Burwinkle Movie". Ugh, anyone remember the old Street Fighter movie? Or the Super Mario Bros movie? I show the video sometime ago but never watch it.
Sometimes, some things should just stay animated instead of using real people. Not all CGIed movies are good, either. Example, "Final Fantasy: Spirits Within". The graphics and effects were wonderful but unfortunately, I can't say the same for the plot.

I think that a KP live-action show might not be all that affordable and it will be pretty hard to look for a cheerleader who looks like and talks like Kim Possible; not to mention all of the other characters and stunt men/women.
