I saw a commercial last night that I found interesting. For Disney Channel's Thanksgiving day lineup they are playing two Kim Possible movies (ASiT and StD). I am not sure if it means anything, but I found it interesting that with all the movies they have available that chose to play two KPs instead of one and another movie.
I also seem to see KP showing up in a lot of other commercials with Disney's current lineup.
Anyone think that maybe they are trying to judge interest in KP?

They have playing the fire out of KP the last two weeks. STD was on last night and the two KP movies will be on Thursday an teh marathon last friday, maybe Disney is startinf to understand what a good thing they have in KP.

Also, we've seen three KP marathons (2 on DisChan, 1 on ToonD) within a year. That's not commin. Only 1 other KP marathon was done. I don't remember when.

Makes you really wonder since KP seems to be the only animation that they are doing this with.

I too have noticed the Thanksgiving Movies lineup. Very interesting I must say, especially in light of all the other commericals and recent string of marathons.
I have a feeling that Disney is trying to gauge the fan's feelings for the show. If the ratings are big enough they may renew the show, or maybe not. I am not certain but regardness I think Disney is testing us with this recent rash of KP promotions.
Just my 0.02 cents

They just want to hype KP for the second-last time. The last being when CGI airs, unless there is a renewal.

Went shopping the day after Thanksgiving. (One of the many perils of being married ;D )
Anyway, as we were walking through the movies I saw a Disney Christmas compilation movie. It had KP on it with a handful of other live action shows.
I can't figure out what they are doing. It seems that they know KP is popular since they are exploiting the show in commercials and DVDs as well as the rumored new merchandise, but they are keeping close mouthed on a continuation.
It baffles me.

I think they are trying to Milk Kim for all she's worth.
I just picked up the new KP Christmas Figure the Disney store exclusively carries. Along with it was Tinkerbell, Toy Story 2 Cinderella, and Alice in wonder land.
And KP is among some of Disney's all time greats. Hmmmm........

It baffles me. That's easy to explain from a CEO standpoint. Have you heard talk about X-men 3? People are saying that Nightcrawler won't be in it. If I'm not mistaken, they're already in production; so they could end the rummors. Why don't they? They want to keep people interested.
