Dark? I'm not sure what I'm missing, but I didn't see an outrageous amount of dark here. Are we talking about various people getting stoned? (I mean that literally.) Yeah, that was really scary seeing a petrified Kim fall from a great height and smash on hard ground. Real stone would have shattered, but even stoned, Kim is extra durable. No need to exagerate, they simply ignored her falling, had it been Ron instead of Kim the same would have happened.

Just goes to show that you should always read the fine print. I mean did Monty realy know what he was getting into when he struck the deal with Yono. I don't think so. He probably thought the destiny of the Yono was some great thing, not being turned to stone and buried underground. Exactly. The way I saw it - Monkeyfist's weakness has always been his lust for power. That lust blinded him to truth of his path he was treading. Without realizing it, Monty traded his soul for a promise of power... which is really the path he started down back in the beginning when he traded his "Monty" for "Monkey". He's a great character and I hope we've done him justice. Of all the villains, there was a certain poetry about Monkeyfist, so I wanted to give an appropriately poetic resolution to his thread. I was thrilled when I pitched the stone and shrine conclusion and got the approval from Mark and Bob.

Nice way of thinking
Think Shego will go the same sorta way you (as in writer thinking) that Monty did?

oh and this just came to me, is Monkey Fist the new Yono? the path to the Yono could mean just the power of Yono. When Yono gave Monkey Fist the mark that could have made him the new Yono. And Yono was on the temple and was stone when Fist found him and now Fist is stone and the temple sunk with him on it but the monkey Yono wasn't there. Someone gets a gold star! ;D

Swenlin has never let me down since he always has the best K/R stuff. That's why i'm not giving up hope that we will see a longer K/R scene in the finale because he is a writer for the finale. In either case i expect great K/R Moments.
That kiss was so passionite in this episode Swenlin. It was worth the wait only if it was only for a few seconds and hana interupted what would have turned into a make out session. lol.

If you got a desktop screencapture thing - you could have DVD quality episodes! Yeah... uh, about that... *cough* Let's just say Apple's obtrusive DRM ain't exactly bulletproof. *le gasp* The envy is giving me butterflies ;D Magnificent! Great screencaps while we wait for wallaceb's to get online. I <3 Yono! You rock, Will! How do people get these screencaps of Oh No! Yono!? The episodes are available on iTunes. Will's using the Print Screen button, I think. And great explanation, Swenlin! This is more than a worthy send-off for Monkey Fist. And those who like the idea of villains dying obviously don't understand the show's underlying philosophy.

I guess I'll disagree with the majority AGAIN and give it a five.
...Oh wait. 94%?!
Usually I'm in the minority on episode ratings! =o I'm with the in-crowd! Hooray!

I guess I can live with the idea of Monty being the next Yono now.

Let me say Ron was adorable in this episode. I loved how he was all sad for Hana and was helpful for her. I am adoring Hana/Ron's interactions and am loving the Stoppable family more and more ^^

This is one of my favorite, cool-looking shots in KP history. I'm also fond of this shot, as it gets across the massive size of their surroundings, and made the battle seem even more epic - A kiss cap - Post-kiss with Hana - Ron crying because he feels like a bad big brother - Ron crying because he feels like a bad big brother - Ron broken up seeing Kim cast in stone -

Well, after I viewed the episode a second time (Thanks to the magic of DVR), I really enjoyed it! The episode came out better upon watching the whole thing from start to finish, and Little Han definitely was the star! Yeah, this has been one of the darkest episodes of the series. Yet it was well written to convey Hana's destiny to defeat Yono. In good KP fashion, Hana defeated Yono by using the Ron Factor, just plain luck as she danced to the Flippies which provided her the means to avoid Yono's energy bolts. Once again, I can imagine her being a teenager following the footsteps of her Big Brother and Big Sister. The K/R kiss was good, but I found the shot of Hana in between them to be cute, showing them to be a family. I really want to see screen-caps of Kim, Hana, and Ron together in that shot. Speaking of K/R moments, did anyone catch the shot of Kim and Ron smiling as they look up at the ceiling before it panned to show Hana running around it? Ron has his head on top of Kim's and they look cute as couple in that shot. So upon seeing the episode for the second time, count me in as giving this epy a 5 out of 5! A great way to end the entire Yamanouchi arc.

It's called 'Digital Video Recorder', and basically it's a box with a large harddrive in it to digitally record shows. It's a standard now-of-these-days for cable/dish TV companies to give to customers. I programmed mine to record "Oh, No! Yono!" Sunday night so I can rewatch the episode later if I miss it the first time around.
