Most of you are probably familiar with the Mad Libs books that have been around for years. If you don't already know, Mad Libs takes a simple story, deletes key words from it, and guides you to fill in the missing words. The thing is, the person filling in the story has others give him the words without their knowing how the original story went. The result is a...well, rather mad story. Here's a sample from the script of Bueno Nacho, Mad Lib-style:
SHEGO – Drakken's glammed-up jump rope, rides up alongside the dog sled on a high-tech tractor. (NOTE: Shego's wearing one of those Club Banana light bulbs Kim saw, but in PINK, also safety gear.)
Shego: Not if I melt you first.
Kim: Shego.
Ron: The mad scientist's mad laser printer.
See how that works? So, I'm going to list words that I need you all to fill in. As the words are filled in, I will put them into a Kim Possible story...and post the mad results for you to enjoy. We've played this game on Kim Possible boards in the past with great success.
Word guide:
Noun = The name of a thing (door, pencil, naco, Kimmunicator, etc.). Technically, nouns can be names of people or places too, but in this game, names of “things” work best, especially if embellished with an adjective (rotten tomato, giant antelope, etc.).
Plural noun = Take a noun and make it plural! (doors, pencils, nacos, Kimmunicators, rotten tomatoes, giant antelopes, etc.)
Verb = Describes an action (run, jump, scoot, nosh, bulldoze, etc.)
Verb (past tense) = (ran, jumped, scooted, noshed, bulldozed, etc.)
Adjective = A word that describes a thing (good, bad, tall, short, fat, thin, purple, Hungarian, geeky, stupendous, moss-covered, etc.)
Adverb = A word that describes an action. Usually these end in “-ly.” (quickly, noisily, warmly, gracefully, etc.)
Exclamation = Just what it says (Boo-yah! Woo-hoo!, etc.)
The rest of the words should be pretty much self-explanatory. If you're stuck or have any questions, feel free to PM me.
So let's get started! Try to take turns picking the words so that more people can join in on the fun! (That is, unless nobody's answered for a while and the thread starts falling to the bottom...then go ahead and post the next word, even if you posted the previous word.) In all, 91 words are needed for this first story.
The first word we need is:
#1. Plural noun
