i think the idea of having people required to enter for the election is a good idea. if you want to be voted on, you must "register" to be on the ballot
and i can actually send out a PM to everyone in the entire board at once to inform them the election is happening, since not all people regularly go in the fun board.

See, a mod in the background makes the process easier

I'm to 99% sure it was the Kayleigh. You're right! I think it's her! I remember her avatar. Something HSM-ish.

I dunno, it's like - members nominating themselves instead of being nominated by their peers. Doesn't sit well with me.

Wasn't it just a free-for-all last time though?
If people don't want to participate and be judged then they shouldn't just be thrown in with everybody else

Isn't it even more devastating if you register for it and no one votes for you? I liked it that you could vote for anyone.

Haha, I enjoyed the free-for-all feeling of it. Twas fun! I mean, too many rules and restrictions may make the election too formal for my liking. The game was always designed to be a Fun Board thing.

But it's all my fault because I registered for it...which was a waste because no one voted for me!" ...Fusion, you have the bestest ideas in your wobblebrain!

Lets just not bother with an election! Or we could just learn to not take it so seriously and that getting no votes doesn't mean nobody likes you, eh?

Or we could just learn to not take it so seriously and that getting no votes doesn't mean nobody likes you, eh? So we're, thinking of keeping the old format? PS. Just remembered - before January, we had a Mock Election in July. I think we're a couple of weeks early.

Okay, I said I don'T care, but now I think we shouldn't make a new one. I just hate all the "nobody loves me" posts after that.

Ah, I was just...mocking you. BwahahaHAHA. Mocking. In the Mock Election Thread...Humor did a fantastic job. Well, I think the best would be no registration but keeping it as it was, the REAL thread should either get closed or be watched by the Mods really closely. And then...the categories...don't know.

Thinking about it, if I got no votes it wouldn't bother me at all. It's a mock election on a message board on the internet. I know we're all friends here and I don't need a vote to tell me that!
We just need to make sure it keeps fun and we don't take anything too seriously.
Or we could have one award for each person only.
