Why? We don't spam in the member's section. But it's not that we would say anything there that would be worth to push our post count  |

Also, it cuts down on the number of posts made JUST to increase the post count.

Is the ask me thread section off? I haven't checked. I meant the main members board. And look over the threads that are in there, ABL. I'm sure something will stand out worth being in there. |

Has anybody else noticed that the Introductions-board is dead since it got moved?

I'll probably move it back, but I wanna test it further.
New members don't have to have their first post there. If they're really serious about the site, they'll look around and see the Introductions board, and post. It's amazing how many intros are there, and then the person drops off the face of the earth, LOL.
'Sides, at the moment, there's a link to it on the main page.

Yeah, I keep going past the Intro board on my way to the 'Ask Me' section, and notice that there hasn't been a new post in there since the move.
And I don't know if I like the whole 'new members have to prove they're committed to the forum by finding the introductions board' idea [even if it's only one click away]. I've welcomed enough members to know that the majority stick around [atleast for a while] if they're formally welcomed to rs.net and made to feel at home. I personally think it's a crucial part of the forum.

I didn't say that had to prove, LOL. I just said it's not that hard to look around if they really mean to hang with us. There are some people on the internet that just go around and join boards to post in the introduction threads. I've seen it happen! Lol.

I guess so, I don't understand it myself.
But like I said, nothing with the Introductions board is final, I'm just checking out how it does where it is. I'm curious, indulge me.
