I did some re-arranging... With the Member's Section and with splitting the General Discussion into two... General KP Discussion and General Conversation.
Anything KP related that doesn't go into character discussion goes in there.
Also, if you have anythign to say that has to do with you... announcements, blogs, personal questions or statements, birthdays... Then it should go into the Member's Area. This one I'm just testing out, I don't know if I want all those crazy 'Ask Me' threads outside of the 'Fun Board', but we'll see...
So this new look... I can easily reverse it or tweak it.
Y/N
[Edit] I also moved the 'Introductions' board... It seemed out of place if there was a 'Member's Section'... But now it seems so hidden, I don't know if anyone'll see it, especially for those just coming to the board, which is what that section is for.

Well, they don't have to make their first post at the Intro thread! Wait, I already said that to you. Lol.

I think I like this new organization.

Wow! er, the changes are a little dramatic. I...dunno. I guess I'll have to explore a bit, but honestly - this is like a HUGE change. It isn't like adding a new section to the fun board - you've like rearranged key areas of the board... :S

All I did was split one main board, and move a Fun Board sub-board out into the open, Lol.

I retract my earlier suggestion about the general forum. I think this way now will lead to some confusion, especially after all this time posting...whatever, in the general. People are going to forget where they are.

I think if people pay attention, they'll catch on.

I was a bit shocked and unnerved by the change, but honestly? It doesn't matter. I like it. It's a little bit more organized then it was.
By any chance are you of a conventional personality type at all, Serge? You're so organized!
Unless there's such a thing as too organized. Okay, yeah, now I don't know how I feel about it. I like it but I think it's too organized.

Hmm, not sure what to think... I'll have to get used to it... Also, if you have anythign to say that has to do with you... announcements, blogs, personal questions or statements, birthdays... Then it should go into the Member's Area. I can totally see where your coming from, but this will take me time to get used to. I mean general discussion always seemed like a good place for some of these things... It seems like general discussion is being spread out to other threads an being watered down... Just my initial reaction...

Awww man, I was actually worried at first when I saw the changes. I thought, what the heck happened to the Member's Section? Until I realised that there were changes to the board. Hah.

Ashley, yeah, I'm a little OCD with organization... And I can adapt well, I hope members here can, too. Lol.
Fusion, yeah, it is a little different, but basically it's like... If you have something general about KP to say (that's not a character discussion or an episode review), you go to the KP general board. If you just have something general to say, you go to the General Conversation... If you have something to say about yourself, it goes into the Member's section.
Because just like people are annoyed with Ask me threads or current event threads taking up the General Conversation, people can be annoyed with threads about member's personal life, life stories, or whatever. Lol.
But anyway, like I said, it can be reversed or tweaked. I'm OCD, let's see what happens, LOL.

At the moment I feel like threads can get more easily lost in the members thread and that an announcement is more likely to be seen in GD, but these changes could actually change the way people look at the forum... I'll have to see how it works out [double post fixed] Woah, I just realised how much has changed I'm not sure if I'm a fan of sub boards... new users may not see them and the fun board keeps saying its updated when its only the role playing board

Well, I figure we can't smash everything into one section, because people complain about threads getting ignored or lost or shoved several pages back.
This makes it more organized for people to click, quickly see what's up, then move on to the next section, click, see what's up.
But I guess people surf different.
[Edit] Hey, double post there, Lol.
Well, I didn't just do that, that's been like that for a while.
Well, the Role-Playing IS the Fun Board. There's nothing wrong with clicking to take a look, or using the 'Mark as Read' button.

Oh no, it's all good! It is all about the members, so I have to make sure people are cool with it.
But I hope people will take into consideration that they might not like it now, but can adapt to it and get used to it over time.
I mean, hey, I used to hate this show, LOL.

I'm totally fine with the way it is. I dunno. It's great, I guess. I just think we're being uber-nutso with organization. But, it works. And you used to hate KP? Is that what you meant? Oh (insert random word).

I was freakin' out because I couldn't log on to the boards. And then I was freakin' out because when I went to the Fun Board, the "Ask Me" threads had disappeared. My Army... taken out in one fell swoop... But, alas, I found them and was relieved. *phew* It is going to take a little getting used to, but I think I'll manage. And now, we have that "General Conversation" thread for all the news, politics, sports, technology, and world events we're always talking about. I see that as a good thing. So, we can talk about everything general about the show in one thread, the stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the show in another, and all our personal stuff in a third. It definitely makes it more organized and I think it will keep people more focused on where they want to spend their time when they come to these boards. We'll see how it goes...

Strangely, a couple of days ago I was thinking about what it would be like if the kp stuff was separated from GD...

Thank you Avenger for that input! That's just what I had in mind. And yes Ashley, I did, when it first came out. Which is why I became a fan in 2004, instead of 2002. But then I noticed the animation was a little less wonky that I originally thought (and actually, some of the first animation does look pretty weird LOL) and Ron did something that made me laugh, so I ended up gradually loving every aspect, even if it just started with a lil' Ron love. But that's off-topic ... Well, I can tie it to the original idea as that being an example of getting used to something you originally had a distaste for.
