Welcome, Kurt! (Can I call you Kurt?)
Can't get enough VIPs... unless we got all of them... then I guess that would be enough...
Anyhow, question for you already. Forgive my ignorance, but I've always wondered what exactly are the responsibilities of a Line Producer?

Welcome Kurt! We know how highly valuable you are, but are you heavily guarded? Around here, some folks may make see a need for it What is the premise of Monster Allergy? The promos I've seen just give the title.

What is the premise of Monster Allergy? The promos I've seen just give the title. I can help you with that. Excerpts from Wikipedia page : "...adventures of Ezekiel 'Zick' Zick, a kid who is able to see (and is allergic to) the monsters that secretly inhabit his home town of Oldmill and that regular people cannot see."Links : Official site of Monster AllergyMonster Allergy's Wikipedia pageFYI, the show has been shown on DC Asia since August 2006. I've seen it, and personally I think its a nice show (but KP's better, obviously! )

Thanks to all for the warm welcome and kind thoughts. Welcome, Kurt! (Can I call you Kurt?) Please do. the only people who call me "Mr. Weldon" want me to switch my long distance carrier. Anyhow, question for you already. Forgive my ignorance, but I've always wondered what exactly are the responsibilities of a Line Producer? The responsibility of a Line Producer is to make sure that someone other than the Line Producer gets blamed for delays to the production. The Director is always a good candidate, although with a guy like Steve Loter at the helm it's pretty hard to blame the director. Luckily, there aren't a lot of directors like Steve Loter... More seriously, I was in charge of the logistics of the production. As I described it to one of the international Disney Channels (I think the Italian version), the artists go see Steve to find out what needs to be drawn. Then they come to me to find out how much time they have to draw it. The fun part comes when it takes them longer than anyone expected to do the work. Then I have to figure out how to gert them the time they need but keep the production moving in a way that will let us meet our delivery dates. Think of the Director as Captain Kirk, and the Line Producer as Scotty. But without the weird sideburns...

I posted this in the other thread, but since it's been locked, I'll put it here for you. Half? How did you get a half? Or is it one of those 11 minute jobs? Thought they weren't going to do any of those... Oh well, it certainly sounds entertaining! And, I'm afraid I don't have WB (or CW) so I've never heard of "Monster Allergy" But if Two to Tutor is any indication, I can't wait to see more stuff from you! Oh and just watch out for Nabusan... Are any of the season 4 episodes you worked on listed here? www.kpfanworld.com/eplist

Bob did inform us that the animation from "Ill Suited" has just returned from Korea. How's things are going now?

The responsibility of a Line Producer is to make sure that someone other than the Line Producer gets blamed for delays to the production. And we wonder how this show can be so brilliantly funny with people like this on the team. Big laugh of the day! Welcome, Kurt. I am Kim's analyst. I notice and analyse all the subtle details of the show that you guys claim are completely serendipitous, and you're probably right.
