I am Kim's analyst. I notice and analyse all the subtle details of the show that you guys claim are completely serendipitous, and you're probably right. Well, now there's amouthful... On-topic... Well, kind of... In the latest clip from the gargoyles convention (yes it's coming people, it's just very hard to understand, so it may be a while) and it was a combination two of them... Bob Mark or Steve.. Talking about YouTube and how much work it would've taken and all that... Have you looked at any of the fan music videos?

What does a line producer do?

Anyhow, question for you already. Forgive my ignorance, but I've always wondered what exactly are the responsibilities of a Line Producer? The responsibility of a Line Producer is to make sure that someone other than the Line Producer gets blamed for delays to the production. The Director is always a good candidate, although with a guy like Steve Loter at the helm it's pretty hard to blame the director. Luckily, there aren't a lot of directors like Steve Loter...
More seriously, I was in charge of the logistics of the production. As I described it to one of the international Disney Channels (I think the Italian version), the artists go see Steve to find out what needs to be drawn. Then they come to me to find out how much time they have to draw it.
The fun part comes when it takes them longer than anyone expected to do the work. Then I have to figure out how to gert them the time they need but keep the production moving in a way that will let us meet our delivery dates.
Think of the Director as Captain Kirk, and the Line Producer as Scotty. But without the weird sideburns...

How did you make the switch from Line Producer to Staff Writer? Or are you doing both? I'm not sure -- I think maybe Mark & Bob got ahold of some bagged spinach... Actually, I gather from Bob that when the good folks at the Channel laid out what they wanted for Season Four, "Two to Tutor" seemed to be pretty close to what they described. So I did a follow-up episode reteaming Shego & Junior as a freelancer. And shortly thereafter Mark & Bob offered me the staff position. Sadly, I can only do one or the other. That's because one falls under the aegis of the union, and the other is management. If I did both and things went sour, then I'd have to picket myself...

Wait... I do that all the time... you mean, I can't do that? Ooo... I'm about to get myself in so much trouble... Take that me! Where did inspiration for "Two to Tutor" come from? Why Shego and Junior?

The bagged spinach had me laughing for like 5 minutes... Totally unexpected!

Where did inspiration for "Two to Tutor" come from? Why Shego and Junior? Easy -- I asked myself which two characters should never, ever get together for any reason? The answer was Shego and Junior. So, of course, I just had to put them together.

Now THAT's brainstorming!! On the other hand, I could kick myself for not having thought of pairing up Drakken and Duff Killigan...

What if Rufus and Bonnie were stuck together for a day? (Not literally, like in "Bonding.") That seems like an... unlikely pairing...

So, can you describe how a young Kurt Weldon broke into the comedy writing business in generic easily duplicatable terms?

So, of course, I just had to put them together. YEAH! *high fives* But, during the summer for like... 3 days, me and a few other people actually shipped Shego/Junior. Well, I didn't ship it. I just wrote a story to see what it would be like, and that made me over it quickly.

Nice new avatar, Kurt! That's from "Two for Tutor", right? I dun think I've seen anyone here using Senior Senior Junior as an avatar (not the regulars, at least!).
