She fried him with lasers while simultaniously feeding him to killer dogs! Anyway we all know how everyone feels about this... Is Irony the word I'm looking for I die hard Kigo fan trying to disprove another pairing's subtext. It's too wonderful to even get into further ;D Well at least in Sharkin the characters actually had romantic feelings towards each other.

Barken was only there because Disney refuses to let the writers and animaters leave Kim and Shego alone together.

Barkin was there because Disney knew I wanted to see him in a bad sports jacket.

I'm sure that's why they're constantly pinning each other, tear clothes, mud wrestling, and in some cases hugging. It's completely innocent.

And what makes you so sure of this? Are you a female? How do you know so well what we do and how we think about it? It's very unfair of you to stereotype all women like you do.

Kim hates Shego. Barkin is clearly attracted to Shego. Therefore, Barkin/Shego is more likely to happen than Kigo.

Not if STG is any indication. If Kim really hated Shego, she wouldn't have whispered to Ron when Miss Go walked through the door to the classroom. She would have jumped her then and there. And she certainly wouldn't have defended Shego from her brothers. She would have joined right in. Remember, both of these occured before the situation had been explained to Kim, so the "Kim only likes good Shego" argument doesn't really apply. If Kim really hates Shego, she's got a funny way of showing it.

Kim does not hate Shego. I'm not a Kigo shipper, but I've always believed that Kim and Shego would be great friends if they didn't happen to be enemies. STG confirmed that for me.

Kim said it herself in so the Drama.
Kim to Shego "you know what I really hate... you"
You all know the line.
She did not hate the attitudinator Shego, true, but that's a far cry from being attracted to her.

If Kim really hates Shego, she's got a funny way of showing it. She didn't hate attitudinator Shego, she seemed to view her very much as a friend, but she's not so crazy bout the evil Shego. I think Kim didn't attack Shego because she was momentarily in shock at seeing a class at Middleton not taught by Barkin. /sarcasm off Actually, Kim has no reason to attack Shego unless Shego is engaging in a criminal activity. Kim is a good guy and she doesn't just randomly attack unless she has a good reason for it, like saving the world.

Kim said it herself in so the Drama. Kim to Shego "you know what I really hate... you" You all know the line. And I've written a story about it. We KiGo fans figured out a way around that one a LONG time ago. Kim told Shego something in the heat of the moment and kicked her into the tower because she was angry. How many times have you told your parents you hate them without really meaning it? It's the same here. Let it go. The line is dead. STG is the new benchmark for Kim and Shego's relationship.

Tony, I have to hand it to you, you're great with the spin. ;D
But I prefer to take the line at face value.
Sometimes "I hate you" just means "I hate you"
And you don't have any concrete proof to the contrary.

Tony, I have to hand it to you, you're great with the spin. ;D "Spin" is what the White House and the press do. I'm simply interpreting the facts as I see them. Some of us prefer to look under the surface. It's called "analyzing." But I prefer to take the line at face value. How would you react if I told you that I take Drakken and Shego's relationship at face value? Not very positively, I'm guessing. So don't do the same to me. Sometimes "I hate you" just means "I hate you" And you don't have any concrete proof to the contrary. Actually, the very fact that you said "sometimes" gives me all the proof I need. Hate is too strong of a word for a Disney Channel cartoon. Unlike you, I prefer to think of the characters as having depth. People say things they don't mean. Kim's human. And I'm reckoning that she was mighty -ed at Shego. But like I said in an earlier post, if Kim hated her that much, why didn't she attack Shego even before she knew she had been hit with the attitudinator? That blows your argument right out of the water. Isn't this thread supposed to be about Barkin/Shego?

Spin is something anyone can do, on any given subject. You do it well. That was meant as a complement.
You haven't given me any evidence to change my mind.
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" was the expression I had in mind when I said "sometimes I hate you just means I hate you."
I don't have to see any underlying meaning in Kim's comment however much you would like me to.
And that's all there is.
