I still say the ratings for KP Season 4 will be better than any of the other shows they've got going on in 2007, despite any shrink in fandom. Once those new episodes start airing I bet we'll be seeing plenty of new faces around here as they discover KP.

I'm hoping some of the more casual fans have gone into hibernation

[glow=red,2,300]It would seem that the influence of Eisner reaches out from the grave. We get a fourth Season of KP, and now they won't advertise it. Of course, I guess it makes little sense to a marketing director to advertise. Relax, everyone. I'm sure we'll see commercials during early 2007. [/glow]

We should be seeing commercials now! Look how long we had to endure the ads for "The Replacements" (oh crap that theme is now in my head)
WE NEED KP PRODUCT! I wanna Rufus plushie!

I hope they make a Drakken doll in the new season. Seriously, they made a friggin' JOSH MANKEY doll, and he's one of the least popular characters on the show. Yet they haven't made a Drakken doll yet, when he's Kim's arch foe and such a popular character. You know what else would be cool.... KP legos ! There could be a Drakken's Lair set, Kim's room, Monkey Fist set with Ron and ninja monkeys, Kim and Ron in Kim's new season 4 car, etc...

God, I want a Drakken doll. I already have a Rufus plushie and Bonnie and Kim dolls. Thank you, Grandpa RD.
They better show commericals ASAP.
I mean, they showed Season 2 ADJL adverts for weeks before. I can't remember the exact date, but it was well before it came out.

We need to have a talk with the toy manufacturers about this (they're the ones who make these decisions, not Disney). Right now, except for a few odds & ends at the Disney Store, there is no KP merchandise--old or new--out there in the stores. Nothing, nada...zilch.

Last month I tried to find a KP doll at Toys R Us where I work, so I could use it as a prize for an art contest on DA. But there wasn't any KP merchandise left there at all. It had been on clearance back in the Spring, and nothing was left.

The only place you can find KP stuff is either on Walmart.com or ebay.com or other websites.
I remember the days that Barnes and Noble physical store and Walmart carried the books....

Like I said, the toy manufacturers are the ones who decide what toys are made. However, I'll bet Disney does a good deal of lobbying (arm-twisting) behind the scenes to get a particular toy on the market if they really wanted to.
Also, I've seen stores stuffed with toys based on an animated flick long before its release--and the movie turned out to be a dud! And how many times have we seen stores overstocked with items based on a movie or show that has long since "jumped the shark"?
Here, you have a TV show with a proven track record, and is at its peak (or should be, if it weren't neglected).

I don't hate Disney. They renewed KP.

I mean, I hate the way they treat KP. I love Disney as I've always loved it but... yeah.

[glow=red,2,300]No need to fret. We'll see commercials. Perhaps not as soon as we like, but soon.
If you think about it, it's not really that surprising. Remember when KP first came out? Promotions everywhere! ...Just like with any other Disney show. Lilo & Stitch: The Series? Promotions everywhere when it first came out. Then they stopped new episodes for a while (I think they were in between seasons), and then they made promotions. But not as many.
They aren't trying to garner support and anticipation for a new show. They're just renewing an existing show. There's a difference.[/glow]

Have the VIP's said that they'd do Season 5 if Disney offered? If so, then commercials would be a really good thing, to help the show gain support, to have great ratings and possibly a Season 5.

Yeah, I agree.
I'm not sure if they've said they would do a season 5.

They did say they'd like to make another KP movie, if Disney gives them the opportunity.
