I am sure there will be a fandom left. I mean, here's a bunch!

I remember back when I was a fledgling member of the board, and I was like in the back of this MASSIVE crowd of fans jumping up and down going "OOOH-OOOOH here I am, I'm a fan, too" and here I am just a rusting old nOOb getting involved with keeping the show alive. LOL! Shows me that there is truly some magic left in the world.
ONWARDS!

Agreed, we have a really great bunch of people here on this board!
I guess I'm getting a little edgy because of what's going on with some of the other boards like MHA and Drakken's Crib, and if it happens here then I know I'm in the middle of a dying fandom. You probably have to visit there to see what I mean. It's hard to watch boards like that dwindle, when there's not much more to talk about anymore, and when old friends scatter to the four winds.

Well, this is the board for REAL Kp fans.

Ah, don't worry about it. I'm also a member of two Daria fan boards and they're both going strong and that show has been off the air for over five years now. So while a few people may drop out, there's always going to be fans around who care about quality TV programming.

[glow=red,2,300]Ah, any concerns about the current state of the fandom will die away when the first episode of season 4 is aired.
That being said, FaZhou, I have an off topic comment to make. If you're tired, and are just sitting dumbly in front of the computer staring at nothing as your mind wonders while your sig is in your perifial vision, it'll look like Ron is giving Kim the 'Rick James' treatment as the video cycles.[/glow]

No worries, friends. After nearly four years of studying the DC's advertising habits (yeah, I have no life, but I'm thirteen, so I don't need one right now), I know how they do their promos. The main thing to keep in mind? They like to air promos for new things after they air a special. I'd look for promos on the following dates:
a) After or during the DC new year's special; b) After or during the premiere of Cory in the House; c) After or during the premiere of Jump In!
I know none of us want to watch these, but do you honestly want to miss the first promo because of petty differences?
- Zei-ness
(P.S. - are there even any episodes finished yet?...)

I am going to watch the NY Special, CITH and Jump In.
Cuz I am lame like that.
But, explain to me why they aired the first promo of S T D during Max Keeble on March 4, 2005?

But, explain to me why they aired the first promo of S T D during Max Keeble on March 4, 2005? (Tee-hee. I predicted that one. ^_^) Anyway. It's not a special, but it follows the same basic rule, e.g. Disney airs promos for Generic Movie. As soon as Generic Movie airs, they can't really air promos for it as...well, it aired, and it's not new anymore, so they air promos for the next new thing. I'm really betting on Cory in the House being the promo date, but I'd check all of these. If you want to use JL as a reference, they aired promos for the 2nd season about 2 or 3 weeks in advance. However, that show doesn't have the... standing of KP.

Yeah, ADJL is GREAT, but it's don't touch KP.
P.S. I had a prediction that the thing that they were so secretive about, sneak peek thing back over the summer was gonna be a KP season 4 promo, but it turned out to be that crappy The Replacements thing. I was SO disappointed.

So while a few people may drop out, there's always going to be fans around who care about quality TV programming. --Erin M. It's fascinating how interest in the show can be contagious. A couple of weeks ago, I was surfing thru the official KP site to see what was new. When the page opened, the Kimmunicator beeps sounded, and my daughter sprinted right over to me. I wasn't there to play any games, but she begged me to let her play Mad Dog Squad. She's back being hooked on KP again and playing the online games every day after school. Just a little promotion--even just the sound of the Kimmunicator--can go a long way. [glow=red,2,300] That being said, FaZhou, I have an off topic comment to make. Well, I hadn't noticed that, but after a year I think I've seen enough of Kim kissing his cheek and I plan on changing my sig images soon.

I was SO disappointed. Aww. Well, they didn't even have any animation back then, so...again, I wonder if any episodes are even done...? By the way, I'm sure promos will spark everyone's interest in KP again. Old fans and new. Who says the "High School Musical" generation won't like KP? I sure like both.

Ditto here, Zei. I love HSM.
I think maybe one of two episodes are close to being finished.
Yeah, I've gotten back into the KP fanaticism. I finished watching EVERY SINGLE KP episode... including Rufus in a personal three day KP marathon. And, hot dam.n, if you ever have three days or so to watch all of the show, DO IT! I've done it and it does WONDERS.

I don't get why anybody who watches D.C can possibly not like KP?! I bet they're all That's So Raven fans... I don't get it either, yet I know why... Kids? Kids are stupid creatures. Most of them, anyway. Not even joking here. And stupid kids only like stupid humor they can get and laugh at, like the stuff in TSR. KP humor is intelligent, sarcastic humor, therefore the kids don't get it, don't get any humor out of it and don't watch it because it's "boring".

Yeah... that's the problem with kids.
I hate TSR. It's horrible. Plus, I resent that her fans didn't have to do a goddamned thing to get 100 episodes. Some KP fans worked 2 years to get her more than 65 episodes.
