Again, I have to agree. Pride and arrogance are two of the most challenging things to overcome when learning new things. I say pride because one is afraid to learn that their knowledge may not be correct, and arrogance because often people are afraid to consider other possibilities may lead to the same answer, in a different form.

did you know that my name is Ivy when you said you hate Ivy? I hate Ivy, especially Poison Ivy. That stuff just sucks.

*shrugs* No problem, I figured that you didn't and I have never had the mis-pleasure of encountering my itchy plant counterpart but I do own an ivy plant

OMG it was amazing.
We left Phoenix around 4:30 Arizona Time, drove up to Sedona to camp for the night. Went hiking in Red Rock state park the next day, did a little shopping and then drove to the Grand Canyon. Stayed the night there, then the next day we hiked the darn thing (3 miles down, 3 miles back up, man that nearly killed me). Then we drove north into Utah to Zion National Park, where we camped out, then went hiking and did some errands around town, and camped there for one more night.
On Thursday we drove to Bryce Canyon, we were hiked a two mile trail (1 mile down, 1 mile up), then spent the night in a campsite in Hatch, UT. After freezing our butts off (the desert has no humidity, and thus no way of retaining heat overnight, so it got cold really fast after sunset), we woke up on Friday and drove back to Arizona to Sunset crater national park, and then stayed in a campsite at the Mormon Lake Lodge outside of Flagstaff, then drove to Meteor Crater the next day, where I got plenty of my astronomical goodiness.
Saturday evening we chilled in Phoenix, then flew back all day Sunday (got to the Phoenix airport around 10 AM Arizona time, finally got back to Norfolk airport (Norfolk, VA) around 1 AM eastern time.
I'll have to put a link to my photobucket just as soon as I find the energy to upload and edit all my pictures. But yeah, it was amazing out there.

I'm working on the editing now, which is luckily only two or three clicks per picture. Sadly, I have over 200 pictures, and the rest of my group (6 others) took about 500 pictures each.

Wow, there are some really beautiful views there. The Meteor Crater is simply amazing. Antelope Canyon looks really awesome too.
And you saw the Camel Rock. I've always wanted to see that one. My grandparents had a picture of them standing by it when they were younger and I would always sit there and look at it.
Great pics man.
So did you have to actually use your feet in the Flintstone car thing?

Haha, nea, it was stationary. We found it on the road somewhere in Utah, and we thought it was funny so we stopped in the town. I managed to buy a meteorite for $20 in that town...

You're an employer and you have the choice between someone likable and someone qualified.
Who do you choose and why?

As much as I want to say the person that I like, I'd take the person who was most qualified.
I've seen far too many examples in life of someone who was chosen because they were popular, but failed to contribute anything to the group, and often, I've found that they held back the group because everyone was too busy socializing.
