I have bad news for you... that's not the usual answer.
In fact, it's often the person with less skills that ends up being hired if they're likable. After all, the employer has to work with them in the end.
It's not all bad, though. Often those individuals are more involved and learn faster than those who were qualified but disinterested to begin with.
EDIT: Gah! I know the difference between they're and their!

Ah, ok. Under that explanation, that makes sense.

Not to say there's a wrong or right answer, mind you. There were several ways of interpreting that question.
And I must say, your interpretation said a lot about you. ^^

Oh... Was I supposed to reply here? ^^
Well, for one thing you looked at it from the potential employee view. Plus, you think you're the skilled individual and not the personable one.
Now, why do we accept sleep so willingly? (I mean, we are dropping out of consciousness and vividly hallucinating only to wake up with amnesia later.) What's up with that?

I have found that in college, falling asleep isn't willingly done. It either just happens when you are least expecting it (in class, for example), or when you least want it to happen (while working on homework, typing a paper, or studying all night long).
On the flip side, I have also found that there are times when you simply want to go to sleep, and are unable to. So I wonder, is sleep an non-consensual part of human behavior? Is there a way to train the human body to sleep no more than say, three hours of the day, and still be productive the entire day?
And why do we sleep? I've heard arguments for the psychological reasonings, as well as the biological / physical reasonings for cells needing to repair themselves.
Which speaking of, I'm now yawning thinking of all of this, but I'm fighting it and staying up. I've got a script to try to finish... somehow.
