KOTOR II to me is better in terms of Gameplay.
The Storyline had too much plot holes due to the fact the Company that created it rushed and left out many levels.
True, it does visualise how "strong" the Force is and how One person can change the fate of the Galaxy.
I've got through ever single Influence in every Character (Heck, I even made Bao-Dur a Jedi Guardian). It's tricky at first, but you have to understand the perceptions of each Party member and choose thr write words for them. The best way is to never make a mistake and lose influence from them, otherwise it will be hard to regain that influence.
The Zann Consortium is something just like The Black Sun, except they are more potent, whereas the Black Sun focuses only on smuggling and and opened Criminal Activities. But they are still too few, and only strike from the Shadows.
Sadly, they only made a debut in Forces of Corruption.
But I don't really care about them. The Galactic Empire will crush them! ;D
You guys should read about the Thrawn Campaign or the Emperor Reborn series ... they're one of the best SW Books so far. The Yuuzhan Vong War was a little to confusing for me at first, but eventually as I read more, I understood more about the War. Nice touch the SW Universe, but a little "off-the-road" from the Universe as well.

The only books I read that are after the galactic civil war era were The X Wing: Rogue Squadron series, I, Jedi, the Yuuzhan Vong War, and some Boba Fett ones.
And yeah Bao-dur is not hard to become a Jedi Guardian. A few influences and answer the right questions and bam. Techno specialist becomes Jedi warrior.
And yeah gameplay wise I like KOTOR II. They even introduce the different lightsaber forms.
Oh and the Jedi robes actually LOOK like Jedi Robes.

If they could have combined KOTOR II's gameplay/graphics with a story like KOTOR I, it'd have been perfect.
I like the new Jedi Order books. And some of the clone wars one; Shatterpoint is my favorite.

Shatterpoint is one of the best Clone Wars novel out there (next to Labyrinth of Evil [Nothing can beat that!]) .. heck it was the first Clone Wars book ever!

From: Tenkan I didn't say the Influence system was bad....it's just harder for someone like me, who tends to pick out a favorite character and try to agree with them most of the time...(heh....?). Perhaps if the 3rd one is made, it will be like the first two combined with 2's gameplay and 1's story. I'm really looking forward to the Force Unleashed game...I forgot to put it on pre-order, though...

From: Tenkan You know with the way some of those video cards are going for (I'm looking at you GeForce series) it might just be cheaper to purchase a 360 and be done with it. Not to mention you'd probably need a RAM upgrade as well.

I just saw some guy named Bill Hader impersonate a taun taun (however you spell that) on Conan O'Brien show, and I thought, 'Hmm, what the hell was a taun taun again? Was that those huge, hairy-- no that was a bantha-- hmm---" and then he started on his impression and I almost died laughing because I remember watching Empire Strikes Back so many times when I was a kid. He did the taun taun death scene-- too funny! Ice Planet Hoth was actually filmed in Norway, not far from where I used to go on vacation when I was little. But if anybody's a SW buff around here, they'll already know that. Watch the impression of a dying taun taun here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqgWyCh5sAI&mode=related&search=
