A direct quote from Steve Loter... I even left the typo in. The Smufflord says: Ah-Booyah! 'always meant for each other'! Yea! Non Kim/Ron ships... wrong!

By the way, I can't find the "Ask Steve" thread. Was it deleted?
and was that little message about fixing the typo made by you just for this thread or was it by Steve in the other thread?

It's in the "Ask the VIP's' thread, and Steve missed a space on his reply(no big, Steve-o!), i added it for truth. Nice question!

Other ships may be "wrong", but that doesn't mean that they couldn't have worked.
P.S. I support K/R first and foremost, I just think there were (before the whole "...always meant for each other." comment) other possibilities.

Steve Loter is awesome and all but with the way So the Drama ended I just find it hard how they expect us to think Kim didn't get Ron as a rebound when she went straight to him after the whole Erick thing. If he hadn't melted I'm sure she would have stayed with him, don't kill me LOL.

How about explaining to me why you seem to have a low opinion of Kim Possible?

By wrong, I didn't mean it's wrong to dream up dif ships, or have fun with them in fanart or fanfics. I just found it reasuring to hear(again, actually) that there is no canon to other ships. I've always been of the opinion that the 'rebound' theory is more a sexual thing. A guy or gal who has just lost a lover may turn to a substitute, a 'rebound', to fulfill the need. Kim didn't have 'those' needs. She turned to Ron like she always does, cause she needed a friend. Because Ron 'spoke up', finally, she realized that the Rondo was what she had been looking for all along. Also, Eric was created, after research, just to woo KP. Once she found that out, I would imagine her initial feelings for him would be moot. It was all false, so no rebound was needed. Just my two cents.

How about explaining to me why you seem to have a low opinion of Kim Possible? The reason I have such a low opinion on Kim is she belived the Food Chaine crack from Bonnie that's just as bad as Bonnie making it up. And the fact that she put Ron in that catagory, her best friend was mean. But please don't get upset at me for having a different opinion on Kim.

How about explaining to me why you seem to have a low opinion of Kim Possible? Well, I'll treat S4 as a new start - but........ would you honestly do/say half the things to your best friend like Kim did to Ron during the first three seasons?

Ron did/said his own selfish things to KP during the first 3 seasons. Neither character is 'perfect' at being a 'best friend', but perhaps that's what makes them so tight.

Well, of course not!
But, I honestly look past at Kim being all into the food chain, which is just all Bonnie's fault, and I look at what really counts.
The fact that she saves the world and is so passionate about it as she said in Team Impossible, "It's what I do and nobody's going to stop me."
I mean, yeah, I sometimes wanna slap Kim around for being an idiot in some of the episodes in seasons one through three, but as an open minded person I am willing to look past her mistakes as a teenager and say, "I know you aren't perfect, but I respect you for it."
I mean, yeah, Kim has problems with treating Ron like he deserves, but Kim isn't perfect! Kim is not perfect. I don't know any human personally who was. Christ was, but I never had the honor to meet him. But, as a three year fan of KP, even if Kim has been horrible to Ron, I still view her as an amazing person who changed my life for the better and made me a better person.
And if you can't get past her being horrible to her friends (and remember, at some point, we all were horrible to our friends, specifically in middle school), then what's the point of liking the show?
I may disagree with what you guys have to say, but I'd never be like, "Ugh, your opinions suck! I don't wanna hear them." Because that's wrong.

Well put, and I agree with you 100% about the cannon stuff. As for the rebound being a physical thing... it can go either way. Yeah some people do go for a rebound for physical reasons, but I've also seen someone who was in a deep and very passionate relationship (but not physical) need someone there for emotional support. They have an emotional weakness that they developed where they almost have to have someone there for them.
