Alright, why not?
1. Erika (Can't remember if she spelled it with a c or a k.)
She was the childhood friend. We met in the 1st grade. We had that typical little kid boy girl friendship where we liked each other, but we didn't know why. It was the kind of thing that mothers like to ooh and aah about. You know the drill. She moved, and I didn't see her for many years. One day I ran into her again, and it was like she had never left, and that evolved into a little something more for a short while. Unfortunately, we kind of panned out because she lived a good distance away from me. I don't know what she's up to nowadays, but I hope very much that she's happy.
2. Kim (heh, don't get ideas. They are very different.)
I honestly don't know what the deal was here. I don't even remember Kim very well, strangely enough. I do remember though, that while we were together, we were great. Also, she was the first of 2 girls to cheat on me. Haven't heard from her in forever. According to a couple of my friends, she turned into a, well, I won't say the word on this forum, but I'm sure you get the drift. I don't know if it's true, but it isn't my business anyway. I don't know what she's up to, and I'm not sure I would care if I did. I'm not angry or anything, it just doesn't mean anything.
3. Mandy
My time with Mandy was pure happiness, plain and simple. She was the most incredible girl. She was (and still is as far as I know) the typical, funny, "I'll try anything once" super fun girl that had the definition of a magnetic personality. Funny thing, we had a few romantic moments, but we never actually dated. To say I was crazy about her would be putting it lightly. It's been a good 3 years since I last talked to her, but I know if we ever run into each other again, it'll be just like old times. We were close friends, even before and after the "relationship" part.
4. Jessica
Whoo, there's so much to say here... She had a few issues. It was understandable because of her family though. I won't give any details for the sake of her privacy. Let's just say that I never met her dad because he was busy doing time, and the rest of her immediate family had problems of their own. You wouldn't know it from first glance, because she was a very sweet, quiet girl. But we knew each other very well. Hers was the longest relationship I've been in, and we were very close, but it had more than it's fair share of problems. Like I said, her family was a problem. She revealed to me after a time that she saw a psychiatrist regularly because of her past. She was also the 2nd girl to cheat on me, and apparently a closet bisexual (you put that together) even though she was very devoted to her religion. Finally, when I broke up with her, she threatened to kill herself... She didn't of course, but that sums it all up pretty well. For the most part, I remember her fondly, but it's kind of broken up by the bad moments. I don't know what she's been up to since.
5. Kellie
She was a friend whom I developed feelings for. I never had any intention of telling her about it, naturally for fear of ruining the friendship. Of course, one of my friends had brain enough to figure out Kellie was the girl I was interested in, and blabbed to her at the first opportunity. I'll never know exactly what her thoughts were about it, because she kind of just ignored it. We were still friendly, but she sometimes acted like she was walking on eggshells around me. She wrote a couple things in my yearbook that could have had a different meaning, but I've never been sure. Haven't talked to her since the end of that school year.
6. Katie
Another girl who kind of fit the issues thing. I still don't understand how she worked. I knew her when she was a Senior in high school. At the time, I was a sophomore. She spent the better part of the year flirting with me, but I never even noticed because I didn't think of her that way. I realized it when she asked me to prom, and to simply "go out with her". I took her to prom, but that was it. I later found out that she lied to a lot of her friends about what we did. The truth was that it was nothing, but she claimed loudly that it was far more than that. Think about it. I don't know what her deal was, but I've honestly never thought too hard about it. I haven't talked to her in 3 years. I think I saw her the other day, funnily enough, but I didn't talk to her. Awkward you know?
7. ---
I'd prefer not to talk about her. It was nothing bad in even the slightest way, but it is a private thing. I have my reasons. I last spoke to her three weeks ago.
Wow. That's everybody. It's funny, because I never think about these girls on a daily basis, but there's a lot of history there. It's interesting the great memories that hit you like a ton of bricks when you think back a bit. When I consider how happy I was at these different times of my life, it makes me wonder what the future has in store.
Well, even if no one reads this, I'm happy I talked about it.
Sorry for the long post.
