Without Eric, would Ron realize his feelings 4 KP?

As many others here know, Kim, when it comes to boys, is one confused young lady. She has the courage to freak fight, but when it comes to dating, she's shy, much like Ron was toward Zita (see "Grudge Match") and somewhat with Yori.

Before Eric entered the picture in "StD", Kim was pretty much going to end up with Ron anyway, given all the boys on the top of the 'food chain' were taken. Her conversation with her mom showed that she was going to end up with Ron, yet thanks to Bonnie, her thoughts kept saying 'Ron isn't boyfriend material' regardless that they had pretty much been 'dating' for years with the countless missions, hanging at Bueno Nacho, etc.

Yet, given Kim has been brainwashed by Bonnie, one should question whether she would had saw past the 'food chain' stuff and saw Ron as more than 'just a best friend'. Would she and Ron end up together at the prom without Eric and Drakken's plot? Maybe. Would they eventually finally admitted their feelings for each other? Possible. Yet given, Kim would still have been thinking that Ron wasn't boyfriend material, it's more likely their feelings wouldn't be revealed to each other until further down the road (maybe after high school).

Ron has no clues to what girls want. Kim is shy expressing her deep feelings toward boys. It was no wonder it had taken Eric and Drakken's plot to finally gotten these two together. IMO, their 'best friends' relationship might have dragged for few more years without that final push.

I think it had more to do then just the other guys all being taken, I think it was more that she had started to like Ron for a while, but like you said was basically "brainwashed" by Bonnie into thinking dating Ron would be social suicide.

A friend of mine and I just had a conversation last night about dating in general. He said something interesting that now matches whats been said here. He said he really did "date" his girlfriend for 2 months before he asked her out. That just kinda struck me as sounding right. He got to know her better before he popped the question. Its a lot like how KP and Ron went on missions together. They connected on a certain level until they were both ready to take the next step.

There is truth in your words. It did take her time to realize that the guy for her was always right next to her. A guy who would always be there for her to comfort her, support her, and love her for who she is.

i believe tha the two would have definatly got together.Over all of the episodes we have seen in seasons 1,2 &3 we have seen too much evidence that they would have got together.Kim and Ron are practically destined to get together,they are best friends,know everything about eachother,secretly love eachother and are very confident around eachother.There is no way that they would not have gotten together.

no no if ron hadn't chicken out and gone bueno nacho they wouldn't have known about the plan. it would have worked for erik was the perfect distraction from draken. that what he was crated to do.
remember any one could have been erik. i believe erik really was just a ploy at making ron jeaulous like kim had been in recent months and any body could have been erik to have suficed it just so happened that it was erik. as for ron and kim getting together without erik. yes the would have gotten together for ron and kim were beginning to realize this it was just a matter of time untill ron wasn't afarid anymore of "total flame out"
