Don't worry. I have, and I like it very, very much. I don't think Drakken would be subued so quickly though. He's a slow learner when it comes to stuff like this after all.

Slow? Even after five hours straight? I didn't exactly mean that he's completely reformed or anything-- for example...soon after, he nagged her about cloning her, after all-- just that he's never going to try to using mind control on her again (and he did never do it again on the show, right?). I can see what you mean, though. Oh well...from what I've read of your posts and your fics, I think our interpretations of Drakken's character do vary on some issues, but it's nice that we can still enjoy each other's fics. Reading fics would be boring if we all interpreted KP the same way, right?

I think the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to him is that A) he's a coward, B) he's stupid/inept and C) he gets beaten up by Shego all the time.
Just look at trhe animated gif in your sig. If Drakken was a coward he wouldn't try taking the letter back from Shego like that.

Just look at trhe animated gif in your sig. If Drakken was a coward he wouldn't try taking the letter back from Shego like that. I don't think he's a coward (he can sometimes exhibit cowardly behaviour, sure, but he's no more a coward than you or me) . I just think he can be decent even if he's a villain. That's why I wrote: It wasn't about him being afraid or a coward. Um, but then I'm not sure if you were referring to me specifically, too, or just people in general. I'm sure you've deducted from my various posts about Drakken that I don't think he's inept or stupid. I've defended Drakken on several occasions. I don't think he gets beaten up by Shego all the time, either, as that would not only reflect the show inaccurately, but would be unfair to Shego. She's got a temper on her, sure, but she's not that bad. I do, however, feel that you sometimes look at Drakken's character a bit too seriously, but like I said, we all have our own interpretations of the show. Some lean more towards the dramatic aspects, some lean more towards the comedy. *shrugs* I can understand how certain events on the show have lead to your interpretation of Drakken, like his somewhat tragic past.

Don't worry. Nothing of what I said was aimed specifically at you.
As for Drakken's behaviour in my fic he's just not in a very good mood. I'm already planning a sequel where you'll get to see Drakken at his best.
Right now he's on vacation because he needs a break from losing against Kim. His spirit isn't as high as when he's actually working on a plot. You can expect to see more of an enthusiastic/happy Drakken in the future.

Okay, thanks. And I do agree-- there is a a lot of negative comments about Drakken from time to time. I didn't mean in your fics (fic? fics? plural or singular?), by the way, I meant when you post on the board. In your fic it's understandable that Drakken's annoyed, even if he seems to be even more annoyed than usual. A happy Drakken sounds nice. I look forward to it. ;D The next chapter of Maslow will have a bit more critique of Shego than of Drakken this time around.

I didn't mean in your fics (fic? fics? plural or singular?), by the way, I meant when you post on the board. I guess you're talking about him not looking like he has urges. Trust me he does. I just think he doesn't get turned on as easily as most guys. When he does though... Well I'll save that for the sequel to "Taking a break".

No, this isn't about the sex. It's about him maybe being a bit darker and more serious/bitter in your interpretation. I don't know how else to explain it.

Ah. Well... he is bitter. That's why he wants to take over the world after all. But I get what you mean. I guess I just want people to realize there's a serious side to him as well. My version of Drakken is a mix between season 1 Drakken and how he is in the later seasons. But I have an idea for a sequel to "Taking a break" where you'll get to see him be his more classic self. It'll be more action-orientated. Like A KP adventure seen from the villains' POV. Drakken will get to do all the things he loves, and that's when he's happy. He'll be plotting, gloating, bragging, grinning devilishly, laughing evilly and basically act like his insane self.

I've just updated Maslow. Chapter two is up, though it'll probably take a few moments before FF net processes the update. Chapter three will be up soon, too. My FF net account: www.fanfiction.net/u/602928/

I'd like to read it, but I can only see chapter 1 now for some reason. Weird.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now.

All three chapters are accessible now, but everything's been extremely glitchy, yeah. darn you, FF net. Sigh. Only half of my reviews actually appear now, too. It's weird, they just keep appearing and disappearing randomly, just like the chapters did earlier. FF Net -- Fun Times Had By All. The entire story should be possible to read now, though.

I know you have, and I thank you for that. I'm just really interested in what my readers have to say. Not that you aren't of course.
