I liked your second entry.
It's true, if you really do like something, then you shouldn't be ashamed of admitting it.
Undoubtedly, the way people look at you is VERY important. B'coz that's you pride!
In that case, show people, that you ARE proud of who you are! Show the world that you are not ashamed of who you are. You like something, or someone, that is your feelings...to hide your feelings from people is a difficult burden to carry...
This is where you prove you have a strong heart, to admit the truth, to open yourself to the world, unveil your REAL personality...do not show them you are false!
That is real pride, that is REAL character!

Dude, I know that.
I recently had to show a couple of sources for a paper I'm doing. It's about power and oppression and the sources were to show our beliefs on it. So, one of my sources was KP: S T D and I proudly talked about it and showed a clip to the class.
Also in my junior year of high school, I taught for about 45 minutes on Kim Possible in my AP English class. She required that we teach a class about something we like. I thought about doing writing, but that was too boring, so I did KP. Hehe. It was nice.

In KP Fan Cereal! ;D This is where you prove you have a strong heart, to admit the truth, to open yourself to the world, unveil your REAL personality...do not show them you are false! That is real pride, that is REAL character! "BOO and a-YAH!" Also, since Ashley brought up Halloween, don't forget that I was Ron Stoppable this past Halloween. Badical! And people actually recognized me, which was badical to the max!

I think there are more people than will admit to it. I think there are tons of closet fans who are afraid to freely admit it in public. Not me, though! I'm "Boo-yah!"ing all the time. Like, just the other night, my friends and I went to buy some Coca-Cola (to mix with our rum) and we were standing in the checkout line. So, there's a whole bunch of people around us. And I see the latest issue of Disney Adventures sitting there. So I'm thinking, I gotta see what they have about KP in this. So, I reach for it and my friend is like, "What are you doing? Don't be gay, dude." And I'm like, "Screw you! There better be some s*** in here!" So, I'm like flipping through the magazine... and there wasn't really much. But, on the calendar in there they listed the premiere date (even though it was on the wrong day ). So I pointed it right in my friend's face and screamed, "BOO-YAH!", and then slammed the magazine back into the rack. But, nobody spoke up and was like, "Hell yeah! Kim Possible!" I really wish I could meet people who were more open... LOL. That was a very amusing story. But you're right, I don't think very many people own up to it either. For the most part, people look down on guys who watch Disney cartoons, sadly. So it makes sense that a lot of people would hide it. But go Avenger! Way to show KP pride! ;D I know what you mean, warbandit. I think some of you might recall when I was taking part in the university's MUN. Well, after the event, several of us went to dinner at Chillis, while sitting there we opened discussions about things other than politics... like tv shows! So, immidiately the subgect jumped to cartoons and I admitted I was a Kim Possible fan, my friend Sara admitted she was a Spongebob fan...but was quickly interrupted by a guy sitting opposite me who raised his hand as a gesture for a high five...to me! I said, "What for?" He replied he was a KP fan as well! but before I could continue discussing it with him the subgect changed and I never got the chance to continue talking to him. But, seriously, there are many possible fans out there (pun not intended!), that we need to reach out to and not have them hide it anymore. They could become VERY producitive members and we're missing out on them. As you said, the trick is how to identify a secretive Kim Possible fan! Hey that's cool! I didn't get a chance to see how much my friend knows of Kim Possible, because class ended by the time she noticed my doodle. I have yet to follow-up, and hopefully she's a fan! *crosses fingers* Will you ever see this guy again? I hope you're right, and that there are more fans out there than meets the eye. I'm worried that all the KP fans are right here (or at some other KP community thingy) There still isn't anything out there that I've seen besides the commecials. Nothing at the Disney Store, nothing at Target (we've got just about every other Disney princess) There doesn't seem to be any buzz about this outside of us. I'm very disappointed in the lack of KP merchandise and advertising I can't even find any of the KP DVDs at any of my local electronic stores, anymore! You don't know how sad that makes me... Okay, right! In about 2 weeks the new semester will start. And there are gonna be MANY new students. I'm gonna start asking around people if they watch Kim Possible...And I'll see what their reaction will be like. I'll make a poll...and take note of how enthusiastically they will reply to me. I BET there are, Good plan. I never tried the direct approach, because it would be kind of odd to go up to a random person and just ask if they like Kim Possible, and then strive to become their friend if they say yes ;D Sounds a little creepy But sometimes at University it's hard to meet new people, let alone new people who also are KP fans. See, at least in clubs you can meet others who share your interest. But for KP, there is no "KP Club", so it's not as easy to find fellow fans. There should not be any shame in being a fan! I, personally, have the KP beep as my ringtone, along with a KP theme and wallpaper on my phone, so whenever people ask to borrow it they will see her in all her glory Spread the word! KP Pride! ;D

In fact, this one time I was... um... kissing this girl and my phone started ringing and the girl was like, "Is that Kim Possible?" and I was like, "Yes," and then I went right back to kissing her. So... that was about as much as we discussed the topic. But it's possible she's a KP fan, too. ;D I have a KP image as one of my phone's wallpapers, as well. (It's actually a drawing of Kim I did myself.)

Top man!
Of course, I won't go directly up to them...I'll try to open the conversation.
My friends ALL know I'm a fan...they even tease me sometimes. I'm not ashamed, though.
Because there are other things that I consider far worse than admitting I'm a fan...
Everyone has their ups and downs, and if my friends aren't willing to accept that about me, then perhaps they're not worthy of being considered 'good friends'!

My childhood best friend is also a KP fan. I found it incredibly ironic, because she and I are like Kim and Ron. We talk about Kp on occasion in our emails (which nowadays is the only way we contact). I was delighted to know that.

I'm the only KP fan I know. Friends know about the show and watched at couple of episodes, but not much. As for other people, forget it. The biggest thing around here where I live is Nascar, getting drunk, and dealing with kids. I'm known as "that nerdy guy who spends too much time on the computer." Granted, I can talk about a vast variety of subjects of pop culture including televison shows, movies, books, video games, and computers.
Unfortuately, Kim Possible is thought as a show for little girls. Nobody I know has read The Hobbit. My favorite movie is Citizen Kane. Everybody is looking forward to buying a new console without knowing what games are available. And I'm considered a genius for knowing the difference between AVI and a MP3.

What I feel about this "hidden" fans are that they are KP Fanatic-Sensitive (Yes, I parodied the word "Force-Sensitive" from Star Wars). In them lies great power of them becoming a loyal KP Fan, but they just need someone to help them embrace it. Like how a Master teaches his Padawan. If we find someone like these people, try to get them more "in" to KP ... that would aid our effort for Season 5 alot.

Yeah, a lot of people know I'm a fan, too. Yet nobody has ever come up to me sharing the same interest, so either they are really hiding it, or there are no others that I know of! That's why I need to find a way to expose the quieter fans... But yeah, there's no need to hide what you love just to appeal to others. I mean a lot of my friends are into things I'm not, but I don't judge them. Though it's funny how people can be into drinking and stuff, and it's not a big deal. But as soon as someone is into Disney cartoons, they're labelled a "loser" "I've thought about having a I'm a Kim Possible fan and I don't care who knows" shirt made before. I should have done it. *cries* It's not too late! Make it and wear it proud! I think I'll have to do this, too ;D I'm the only KP fan I know. Everybody is looking forward to buying a new console without knowing what games are available. And I'm considered a genius for knowing the difference between AVI and a MP3. Aw, that's too bad. I know what you mean...people can sell their souls to pop culture, but as soon as someone likes something that isn't exactly "in", they are called the loser? I'm hoping I meet at least four people at my college who like the show. I hope to do that as well. So far no luck, though I have at least 13 Kp related songs on my iPod, including 5 versions of Call Me Beep Me as well Kim's Theme. Woot, I have transferred the KP Soundtrack to my mp3 player as well, and like to listen to "Could it Be" and "Call Me, Beep Me" in particular. Not a big fan of the Aaron Carter tracks, but I have them anyway

Warbandit, that is true...people immediately follow the crowd without giving a seconds thought.
Others who are 'different' stick out in society and are automatically cast out until they submit to what is the trend...only then will they be 'normal'.
That is why many of us can relate to Ron...his popular qoute, 'Never Be Normal", which is proudly presented at the top of RS.net's homepage and is well renouned in the Kimmunity is what really allowed us to open up to each other and admit, "hey, we've been cast out of our community because we're not normal!"
But now, when we talk to each other on here, we see that there's a flaw with such mentalities...because we're actually average people with average ways of thinking, except we have something the others don't...and that's pride!

Well, being their friend is a start. Then try simple talks about KP and introduce them more eps of KP. Once they are in the influence of KP, you both will share a "common interest" .. then, there's nothing to stop them from turning back!
