I have a few friends who like KP. They know the characters and even watch a few eps and we even discussed it a few times.
But they're not really serious fans however.

Well me and my ex usually talk about kim possible at random times. My friends know that i watch a lot of TV (twice a month on sunday i watch 14 hours of tv ) and so they know i watch all types of shows. When i told them to Kim Possible most of them were like that show is cool. Couple of people in my web designing class, most of them being Black and Phillipeno really like the show. I don't think i could announce it to someone random i don't know because i do not talk about tv to anyone i don't know. So i got no problem saying i watch kim possible to people i know and hang out with. Many of them like the show because of a Will from BMW and Christy from Even Stevens.

Gilmore girls? Please. I hate that show, I can't stand Rory. Don't be dissing Gilmore Girls! I love that show, and I like Rory too. Alexis Bledel is soooooooo cute! ;D If I'm not mistaken, Grandpa RD is a fan of Gilmore Girls too!

I realize I'm necro-bumping, nuclear-bumping this thread, but I have to tell this story that happened at work today. We had a Lincoln Navigator come in for regular maintenance. As I was directing him into the garage, I noticed on this gentleman's dashboard a couple of familiar bendables and immediately I was ecstatic and grinned like a fanboy. As I greeted him (he appeared to be in his early to mid-forties, sharply dressed. Probably middle to upper class, not sure), the first thing I said to him, as I greeted him was "I love the bendables on your dashboard!" He was confused at first, then realized what I was talking about when he said "Oh! Kim & Ron?" We both had good laugh as, I think, we recognized each other as both fans of Kim Possible. He seemed to be a family man, so I'm sure that he was familiar with the show through his kids. But the fact that he got what I was talking about and he knew the names of the characters was really an awesome moment. Just figured I'd share this with you all.

That's awesome, tlionheart! Man, I wish I had convos with fans like that! A close friend of mine is the only one who even knows anything about KP out of the people that I know. When I said I was a fan, he said he watched it sometimes with his sister and brother at home!

Heh, let me tell you a little story that happened in school today: It was a few minutes before the last bell rang, and so I took out a drawing of Kim I working on coloring, and the girl next to me asked to see it and she was like, "Ohh, Kim Possible? I used to love that show! But I haven't seen it for a while, or watched the new episodes." That made me glad to know there are other KP fans out there and that she knew there were new eppies. Only one of my friends know I like KP, but she doesn't like it (she's SO missing out!). But my Internet friends like it.. so that's something. I dunno, maybe people think it's a show for the younger kids.. Which is weird, because in my opinion, it's great for all ages. ^^

I think that older viewers can appreciate more of the references and content of the episodes.
All ages can enjoy it but it's definitely got something for the viewers willing to look for it ;D

I would totally put them on my dash if I had any KP bendibles...oh well. But still, those a really neat experiences! I am jelling I think that older viewers can appreciate more of the references and content of the episodes. All ages can enjoy it but it's definitely got something for the viewers willing to look for it ;D I agree! Especially on episodes like The Fearless Ferret or Dimension Twist ;D It's great that they have put something for everybody in the series.

well people still dont know why i like this show, Well, do you know why you like KP as a show? When you know, they will. I think that older viewers can appreciate more of the references and content of the episodes. All ages can enjoy it but it's definitely got something for the viewers willing to look for it ;D That's why I love watching the show with my mother who's in her 50s. She might get things I didn't get. She knew what a Sherpa was and I still think it's a llama. I ought to put stickers on my binder that I use for holding my school stuff. Maybe somebody will see them and ask if I like show.

There's two people I know of who might still be into Kim Possible. One is my sister, fan from day one, but I haven't seen her watch it in awhile. Apparently she's ditched it at some point in 2005 to watch those awful reality shows on MTV and VH1. She's 17 now, so I figure that it was just her time. But up until then, she was a pretty huge fan. I didn't become a fan 'til summer '06, probably because I always percieved KP as "that one show my sister's into", and it's an unwritten rule of the big brother-little sister relationship never to be into the same stuff your sister's into at the moment. Of course, I've recently broken that lifelong rule with Gilmore Girls, a show my sister's been watching for over a year now. The other person is this friend I know. One of my other friends was talking about how him and his coworkers all call their boss "Ron Stoppable", and I was like, "hell yeah!...I mean...yeah." Of course, he's not a fan, but Ron Stoppable is a pretty kickin' name, even non-fans have gotta give him props for that. This other friend, she was like, "yeah!" and gave me a high five. A momentary bond between Kim Possible fans. Of course, we've never gone beyond that to actually discussing the show, but that moment's always stuck in my mind for some reason. I KNOW my other friends aren't Kim Possible fans, because a few months before this when I wasn't a fan yet, we were having a conversation, talking about what our ride situation was gonna be for this concert we were going to sometime in the near future. I was like, "well, what's my sitchhhh?", trying to be hip hop or whatever, and the conversation just stopped DEAD. I got a lot of crap for using a "Disney word" that day, and lots of suspicious "you're into that show, man?" questions from people who apparently knew more about Kim Possible than I did at that point. I denied all accusations aggressively, because I wasn't into Kim Possible yet. But a few weeks later, the other shoe dropped, and I started watching the show.

I'm probably the only KP fan in Naples. It is my deepest secret. Unlike the U.S., in Italy, when you say "Kim Possible", people laugh AT you, NOT with you. A few people knows that I'm a fan: my family (they don't care), 2 of my friends (they don't care about KP: thet're not haters though) and my cousins, who have never seen the show. So far, my DeviantART page/account featuring KP fanarts is my 2nd deepest secret. No one of my family/cousins have seen my dA account (expect my 2 friends, since they're dA members).
The same thing happens with "American Dragon".
