I know this is kind of an old topic, but I'm forgettin' 'bout someone I actually know is still a KP fan. My friend's kid brother, must've been about 14 or 15, and I, we were hangin' at his house with nothing to do. My friend had work, so him and I were just stuck there. We watched TV all day long, including KP. We even sang the theme song I'm probably the only KP fan in Naples. It is my deepest secret. Unlike the U.S., in Italy, when you say "Kim Possible", people laugh AT you, NOT with you. A few people knows that I'm a fan: my family (they don't care), 2 of my friends (they don't care about KP: thet're not haters though) and my cousins, who have never seen the show. So far, my DeviantART page/account featuring KP fanarts is my 2nd deepest secret. No one of my family/cousins have seen my dA account (expect my 2 friends, since they're dA members). The same thing happens with "American Dragon". Oh come on, KP and the AmDrag aren't THAT bad. There are shows that I've been embarrassed to have been into over the years, but these definitely don't make the cut. Especially since KP is in high school, something I just graduated not too long ago. In fact, the friend who gave me the high five over that Ron Stoppable thing, we were discussing ADJL openly in front of our other friends, nobody really cared. And since "sitch"gate, I've dropped a lot of subtle KP references into my usual teen slang. For example, when someone says something's "impossible", I'm all like, "hail naw man, it's KIMpossible" and then everyone groans. I mean, it's so not the drama, as long as you don't overdo it and ramble about the shows 24/7. But just watching KP and ADJL, it ain't no crime.

Lol, I hear ya. It's definitely fun to incorporate some subtle KP slang into your every day speech, as long as you don't overdo it Great stories though! Good to hear there are a lot of KP fans out there, asides from the ones on these boards. As for me, an update to my original story in the first post: I've suceeded! MWAHAHAHA. After rambling on and on about KP to that same friend, she actually WATCHED an episode! The New Ron, apparently...this is exciting news, because she said she enjoyed it. So maybe I can convert her into a fan

Alright, I've given up trying to sneak in KP references when I'm hanging with my friends. It's just not worth it, man. These so called "friends" are so narrow minded, it's just freaking ridiculous. I mean, they're an OK hang, but I can't believe I'm still wasting my time on these people. We've been chilling since 7th grade, so now that we're in college, I think it's time to find new friends. I once had a (Republican) English teacher who said, "being a liberal does not necessarily mean being open minded", and it turns out she was 100 percent correct.
I'm sorry for going on about my stupid 19 year old problems. It's just that I've spent an entire weekend hanging with these people that I haven't seen since winter break, and I think I may have killed off half my brain cells. Would it seriously kill some people to be a little more open minded?

I don't keep any KP stuff in my office and I keep a pretty low profile about the fandom. However, while I never had my men's choir do anything, I made an arrangement for one of my high school girl's choirs of "Could It Be?" about a year ago. When they sight-read the music, most of the girls didn't know what it was, though a couple of them thought it sounded familiar. When I told the choir it was from a Kim Possible movie, a lot of them "oohed and ahhed" about it, and I got a lot of comments along the lines of "That is such a cool show!" and "I love Christy Carlson Romano!"
The girls really liked singing the piece during rehearsals, although we never performed it in concert because of possible legal headaches.

I've tried slipping it into general conversation...always saying, however, that it's my sister who watches it, I sometimes see it, and that it annoys the hell out of me. I know, I know, I'm pulling a Benedict Arnold, but i'm not like Ron. I'm not able to just shrug off what people think of me.

Aww, that's so cool FaZhou! ;D It's a shame you couldn't perform it...but still must have been a treat to hear KP somewhere outside of the show or from the actors/actresses I tell ya im like Ron... I dont care what people think. That's the way! So does everyone know you're a fan? I've tried slipping it into general conversation...always saying, however, that it's my sister who watches it, I sometimes see it, and that it annoys the hell out of me. Well, I simply infected my friends with the KP-virus, and now we're all fans of the show. Simple as that. *g*

Simple as that. *g* LOL you make it sound like a bad thing So far I've only managed to catch ONE of my friend's interest, and so far she's only seen the one episode (of course that will soon change, mwahaha ;D). I prefer to call it "converting" rather than "infecting" ;D But you know, I almost wish it were like a virus and were easier to spread...

Ok, I'll admit that "infecting" doesn't sound too flattering. So, let me rephrase: I have enlightened several of my friends.
