Today I was sitting in English class and doodling some crummy but apparent doodles of Kim and Ron. The person sitting beside me asked me "Hey, is that Kim Possible?" While she isn't as big a fan as I am, it was interesting that she at least could identify it! So it got me thinking...how many people out there do you think watch Kim Possible, but just don't talk about it? How many people do you think are fans but you just don't realize that they are? How many KP fans do you guys know in person? Where do you guys hang? Do you openly express your inner-fan?
Come on. There has got to be a lot of KP fans out there. This message board alone hosts hundreds of fans from across the globe, from all kinds of ranges of age. Surely there are more closer to home who aren't here? I just don't know them when I see them! Now to figure out how to find them...

Erm...I'm the only KP fan I know. I tend to keep it a secret, as the social collateral from that naco hitting the fan could be deadly.

It's probably not generally socially acceptable for older guys to be watching KP. For some reason my brother found it "creepy" for me to watch it by myself?

Most people didn't know when I was in high school until Junior year. I got some flack from people I knew, but they amused me. One girl once called Ron Kim's boyfriend and I think I corrected her (this was pre- S T D). I think a total of 2 and a half of my classes kinda knew that I was a KP fan. Most of them didn't really care. One of my acquaintances had a little sister who watched the show.
My younger cousins (ranging in ages 6 to 17) all have seen the show. My 17 year old cousin, I believe, saw the show the first day.
I was indignant about that once, but that's besides the point.

That's really too bad. I would love to meet fellow KP fans! However, I think it might be worse in public eyes for guys to be fans of the show rather than girls... My younger cousins also have seen the show. Though they find it weird that I suddenly took interest (they watched it years ago, I recently got into it).

Hmm my friends know about Kim Possible, they watch the show with me and find it fun. I also mad them Rongo shippersXD And I did find out that there are some college people out there other than my friends who are fans of this show too. Some boy's seem to relate to Ron the most and find him super funny while the girls love both Shego and Ron, boo-yah...

I'm hoping I meet at least four people at my college who like the show.

I think there are more people than will admit to it. I think there are tons of closet fans who are afraid to freely admit it in public. Not me, though! I'm "Boo-yah!"ing all the time. Like, just the other night, my friends and I went to buy some Coca-Cola (to mix with our rum) and we were standing in the checkout line. So, there's a whole bunch of people around us. And I see the latest issue of Disney Adventures sitting there. So I'm thinking, I gotta see what they have about KP in this. So, I reach for it and my friend is like, "What are you doing? Don't be gay, dude." And I'm like, "Screw you! There better be some s*** in here!" So, I'm like flipping through the magazine... and there wasn't really much. But, on the calendar in there they listed the premiere date (even though it was on the wrong day ). So I pointed it right in my friend's face and screamed, "BOO-YAH!", and then slammed the magazine back into the rack. But, nobody spoke up and was like, "Hell yeah! Kim Possible!" I really wish I could meet people who were more open...

I know what you mean, warbandit.
I think some of you might recall when I was taking part in the university's MUN.
Well, after the event, several of us went to dinner at Chillis, while sitting there we opened discussions about things other than politics...
like tv shows!
So, immidiately the subgect jumped to cartoons and I admitted I was a Kim Possible fan, my friend Sara admitted she was a Spongebob fan...but was quickly interrupted by a guy sitting opposite me who raised his hand as a gesture for a high five...to me!
I said, "What for?" He replied he was a KP fan as well!
but before I could continue discussing it with him the subgect changed and I never got the chance to continue talking to him.
But, seriously, there are many possible fans out there (pun not intended!), that we need to reach out to and not have them hide it anymore. They could become VERY producitive members and we're missing out on them.
As you said, the trick is how to identify a secretive Kim Possible fan!

Dude, my mom is a fan.
She watched Emotion Sickness last night.
Of course, there was nothing on.
But I've caught her watching the show randomly.
She's seen every episode (all 65) and has bought me some of the KP merchandise.
And, I think her favorite episode is Rufus vs. Commodore Puddles.
Well, sometimes I go onto the board while at school. I'm hoping by fate I'm sitting next to someone who sneeks a look and is like, "You like Kim Possible?" And be like, "Yeah." "Me too!"

I'm worried that all the KP fans are right here (or at some other KP community thingy)
There still isn't anything out there that I've seen besides the commecials. Nothing at the Disney Store, nothing at Target (we've got just about every other Disney princess)
There doesn't seem to be any buzz about this outside of us.

Wouldn't it be funny if someone came up to you and was like, "Oh my god! You're Ashley Benlove! SQUEE!" Like, they recognized you. Cause, you're a total RS.net celebrity. Lately, when I'm out in public, I've seen a couple people eyeing me like they recognize me, and I keep half-expecting them to come up to me and ask, "Hey... are you Avenger?" But... I'm also very delusional.

Dude, I know.
I remember when I was heartbroken about the show ending back after S T D had aired, she made a comment like, "why don't you tell them?"

Everybody wants to be a star! But seriosuly? Yeah I'd love to meet any of you guys...in fact I made it one of my lifetime goals, to meet someone, ANYONE, from RS.net! Unfortunately I live WAY too far from anyone here...Most of you are either in the US or in the Far East. Is there ANYONE in the middle!?

Okay, right!
In about 2 weeks the new semester will start. And there are gonna be MANY new students.
I'm gonna start asking around people if they watch Kim Possible...And I'll see what their reaction will be like.
I'll make a poll...and take note of how enthusiastically they will reply to me.
I BET there are,

In October 2004, when I went trick or treating for the last time, I was Kim Possible.
I even went to one of my friend's house (her reaction is below). Me and my cousins went to this haunted house on the route we went and none of them wanted to go and this little girl about 9 or so went in with me and I was like so brave and protective of her and she KNEW who KP was so I was happy. I wrote this the day after, "How was Trick or Treating as the lovely, the beautiful, the woman filled with girl power; Kim Possible? Wonderful. My cousin Whitney was a midnight princess. Shame. I felt unique though. I must have been the only KP out in the area we were. Which, by the way, had about 6 billion people out on H'Ween. LOL. Yea. Crazy. It was so much fun. I got lots of candy, and when I went to Virginia's house (to say hi and get candy) she didn't even know who I was. Like who I was dressed as. LOL. The next day, she did grief me for that. When we passed each other for lunch, she called me Kim Possible, I said, "You know it!" I went into like 3 Haunted Houses, and I swear it, I was not even scared. It must have been the spirit of KP in me for HWeen."
That same day I wrote this about two girls I was friendly with: "Math. Kristen helped me realize something. Though, she may never know this. Carly and her asked me, "What were you for Halloween. You were Kim Possible weren't you?" I was relunctant to give this information, but I nodded. Smiling. LOL. I realized that, if I really loved this show I would not be embarrassed about proclaiming my love for the show. In public. Because, I always tend to feel a little silly for liking a DChannel show, but now I'm not. I mean, it's an important part of my life, and it has been."
