Very happy.
I just finished reading it about 15 minutes ago, at practically exactly noon.
When I read the final two sentences and then I closed the book, I sobbed unashamed and loudly. I can't put into the words the way these tears were, but in a lot of ways, the ending made be overjoyed and sad all at the time. I've never felt something this.
And, I can't believe it was over.

Has your mom finished it yet? Share the pain!

She finished it before I did. By at least a few hours. And we sort of did. Talking about it.
And, I've already ate my words. Cuz, I said Harry living was as likely as you know what else. Apparently, chicken with relish, ketchup and salt is really good.

I'm glad Helena Bonham-Carter has got so many new fans from this film. I've loved her since I saw her as Morgan Le Fay in Merlin and I've been kind of following her career since then.

Belletrix was a great character in the films, anybody who can pull off that great of a job at playing a psychopathic witch (<<<pun intended) is a great actress in my books.
And to be honest, she was one of my favorite villains from the books too. She was so out of control that you never knew what to expect, except that it was going to be bad for anybody near her.

Bellatrix isn't a favorite character with me (I only give my love to good guys) but I think she's a fantastic villain. I hate her like I hate Umbridge and Draco.
Bellatrix is crazy scary. She reminds me of Cruella De Vil.

Umbridge was EVIL incarnate, I'd rather face Bellatrix any day of the week. She's unstable, but at least she comes at you from where you can see her, Umbridge on the other hand is a sneaky, manipulative, little *this portion of the post has been edited out because of content*.

I really hope that Umbridge is locked up in Azkaban the rest of her life. Or at least killed by somebody. But even then that wouldn't be enough.
I HATED her in book 5 and I hated her EVEN more in book 7.

Yeah, at least you know what you're getting with Bellatrix. But Umbridge hides behind a veil of niceness - scared the crap out of me. That kinda thing is what made Tom Riddle scary.

I honestly wonder if Dementors could make that lady crack. She may seem like she's "happy" all the time, but I'm betting there isn't any good thoughts/happiness in her for them to feed on.
And I've been called crazy before, but I'd like to try and confuse Bellatrix, make her head spin in circles... right before I Avada Kadavra her for using the Crucio on 'Mione (still makes me angry).
And Tommy boy just needed a good spanking when he was a kid. And if he was twisted enough to create horocrux's, I'm not sure where he'd stop. I mean he took masochism to a whole new level by tearing his soul apart. *shudders* What is that twisted little boy capable of?

The whole Horcrux thing just... terrified me and made me like, How could you do that to yourself?!
I'm still curious as to about when he made the Horcruxes. The Diary and the Ring were made in about c. 1943, the goblet and the locket about c. 1945 or so, after he left school.
Which is scary to think about. He may have been barely 20 years old and already had 4 Horcruxes. Then, the fifth one about 10 years after he left Hogwarts and then in 1981 (accidentally of course) and then Nagini, I'm assuming right after the death of Frank Bryce or Bertha Jorkins.
I want to hurt Bellatrix as well for doing that to Hermione. And Greyback just made me sick.
But, I'm still very suspicious of the relationship Bellatrix and Vol-- You-Know-Who have. I mean, at one point in DH, the narrator says that she spoke to him as though she was talking to a lover (I was reminded of a scene in At World's End with the crazy black lady person) and he calls her Bella, something that seems that only the most intimate of people would do. He mainly calls his DEs by their last names (save for Lucius and Wormtail).

It's weird how Voldemort and Hagrid went to school together. It seemed fitting that they should meet again in the forest.

And speaking of that... it's very possible that McGonagall went to school with them too. As she is about 70 years old and Voldemort was 70 in HBP.
She started teaching at Hogwarts 40 years in December in HBP (based on info from OOTP), which I assume is when Dumbledore got his Headmaster job, McGonagall became Transfiguration teacher, and Voldemort tried to get the D.A.D.A job.
My favorite part of the book is the one with all of Snape's memories. The ones with Dumbledore are amusing. I really did love the Battle of Hogwarts even with a lot of the deaths, which were so painful for me. Several of the deaths were just awful for me, because I had a great deal of affection for the characters.
Last night I completed reading the book. It took me 11 days to read all 7 Harry Potter books. 4 years ago, it took 10 days to read five of the books. I was operating under what I called read at least 300 to 400 or so pages a day rule. So, basically, books 1 through 3 took 1 day each and books 4 through 7 each took 2 days.

It's weird how Voldemort and Hagrid went to school together. It seemed fitting that they should meet again in the forest. I was hoping that there was some unmentioned resistance to mind altering spells that was genetic to giants, and Hagrid was just waiting on old Moldy to turn his back long enough to get smacked in the back of the head. The only thing that really bugged me about the last book was how Harry went from average intellect to Sherlock Holmes level deductive reasoning. I wouldn't mind it quite as much if he'd been showing this throughout the books, but he seemed to surpass Hermione without so much as a "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" (which, her being the "brightest witch" seems unlikely). Don't get me wrong the book rocked in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound on a Bose sound system, with the exception of Harry's instant brain power and the *this portion edited out because of content* epilogue.

Yeah, Harry having such great brain power was just WEIRD. I was like, "what the HECK is going on?!"
I did love when he and Voldy are circling each other and Harry's talking all calm. I couldn't have done it.

Ditto, I was shocked by how Harry was getting all the answers. I put it down to Dobby's death.
That's when he got 'serious'.
And the final scene with Voldy and Harry - there was more talking than fighting! No one's gonna understand what happened when the movie comes out, unless they have flashbacks.

Yeah, Dobby's death really got him.
I really liked that we finally saw EXACTLY what happened on that fateful Halloween night in 1981.
I loved how there was silence after Voldemort died and then cheering. At least everyone got to see him die. I mean, if it was me, I would like to see him die just to be sure.
I wonder whatever happened to Winky. Rowling says she fought with the house-elves in the Second Battle of Hogwarts. I always figured she would drink herself to death.

I'm not exactly the most trusting person, I would have cast another Avada Kedavra on the body of Moldy.
And yeah, it's going to suck trying to watch this, because there are SOOO many subplots in the books that never made it to screen that have such a major impact on the last book. They really needed to do two versions of the movie, the one they have already shown, and one that covered all the details that the book had in it (yes, I know that would be a massive filming project, but so worth it).
