That's hilarious! ;D Chippy almost looks guilty as he's stuffing the bananas there, and I love the expressions of the other monkey ninjas as well. Two look very annoyed while the third one is all ".....".
And I love Monty's expression and line, too. I get the feeling that this is a family that's going on a trip and somebody is always late to get into the car.

Aww, that's both hilarious and adorable! <3 You made Chippy even more adorable the usual, and it's not easy ;D Yup, I thought the same thing! XD I bet Monty's relationship with his minions is full of adorable moments like this one. Great job, Hanna

You guys draw very well=) I wish I could draw Monty as good as you do, but I gave up trying not too long ago(perhaps that was stupid). When I try to draw him, I alwasy look at a pic on my laptop. I don't have enough fantasy to find/try out something by myself.

Hey, don't give up! I always use reference when I draw him and I still don't get him on-model. The point is to keep trying and slowly getting better. Besides, there is no "who draws Monty the best" competition and we don't judge people by how well they draw. I'm always happy to see Monty art, no matter what it's about or how well it's drawn.

Perhaps you're right. I shouldn't have given up. But I feel that it's so difficult to draw him, and when I look on yours, I wonder if I ever would draw him so well

Just keep practising and have fun. I know how you feel because I often look at awesome art posted by people and know for a fact that I will never be able to do even half as well, but it doesn't matter. No matter how good you are, there is always someone better. And besides, we're here to have fun and not compete with each other.

Alright, something new by me. This is a sister picture to the ant-eating image I did for the Monkey Fist Day. In that picture, Ron listed some of the obstacles he and Monty had already faced. Here's one of them. This is for PengyChan. She turned me into a Killigan/DNAmy shipper. ;D We've been talking about how the villains are often tortured/killed/beaten up in fanfiction and how we think they deserve to get a happy ending for a change. Killigan and Amy can now concentrate on raising a bunch of cuddly, golf-loving children, and Monty is just generally happy to have Amy off his back. I tried to draw more villains in the background, but it didn't work the way I wanted, so I left them out. I'll have to practise some more before doing real group pictures.

Wow, Maria, those drawings are brilliant The first one made ma lagh my head off - I'd KILL to say Monty and Ron in a similar situation in the show XD THe whole situation is hilarious and the dialogues fit it perfectly...so funny and perfectly IC! ;D The expressions are great too - I can't believe how much you improved drawing Monty in so little time And, I totally LOVE the second one! Awww...Killigan and Amy DO look cute, in some twisted way ;D I love the way Amy is cuddling him...and Killigan's jacket XD Monty seems darn glad he finally managed to get rid of her, doesn't it? Man, doesn't he look hot in that outfit...

Pineapple doesn't go with meat? What about Hawaiian pizza? Still, I love that drawing....

It's probably delicious, but I don't eat much meat and had no idea what doesn't go with it. It just sounded disgusting to me. ;D

I eat meat almost every day, and I've never seen anyone putting pineapple with it...but now trying the Hawaiian pizza is on top of my "to do" list XD

I don't eat much meat... but anyway, meat and pineapple? Ew, I don't think I would taste that!

I honestly don't know where this came from. One moment I was writing a commentary about Nacospeak newspaper articles and the next thing I knew was looking at this thing. The lineart could be better, but I made a mistake and accidentaly saved it on the original. Still, I'm pretty happy with it. Guess Monty's love of monkeys has limits. ;D

I like the red background, the use of lighter coloured outlines (ex. blue/blue-grey for Monty's ninja garb, and brown/brown-grey for his hair), and the wrinkles under Monty's eyes. As you know, I have a fetish with wrinkles. Besides, it is an effect that enlarges the intensity of the expression.
As long as there is one character that's not attracted to the other, I wouldn't call it a shippy picture. Monty has never shown love interest for the opposite sex, but he definitely attracts fangirls!

Thanks! I'm still trying to figure out how to best do lineart because I want to have them coloured somewhat like they were on the series, but the only good way to do that in Gimp (or at least, the only way I know) is to use the path drawing tool. However, it makes it difficult to play around with the thickness of the strokes in curves and other such places, so the result looks flat and dead. In other words, I have to decide between coloured lineart and variation in line thickness, which is quite annoying.
I tried to draw two paths for some lines in that image (like Monty's head) to change the thickness, but it didn't really work like I wanted.
I wouldn't call it a shippy picture either. I'm not really into Monty/Kim, so I'm a little baffled that I even drew that in the first place. ;D

That pic is awesome XD ...I feel a bit stupid commenting after Hanna, mostly because I'm not into technical stuff like you two are Anyway, I LOVE his expression in this one, it's so hilarious! XD He looks really freaked out by Kim's attitude (you did a great job on her "monkey form" too, BTW), and I can't blame him. I agree with you when you say that his love for monkeys must have limits ;D

It looks excellent - and when inspiriation hits, there's no stopping it. I wondered if when Kim turned part Monkey, if it wouldn't have.... interested Monkey Fist in some way....?

I have around a dozen more productive and important things to do than draw fanart. Guess what I'm doing. Okay, here's the story behind the next pic. DNAmy and Killigan get together some time after Graduation. Kim and Ron suspect they're up to no good, so they decide to snoop around a little. While exploring Killigan's castle, Ron comes by something that was stored away and forgotten. I'm not even going to pretend that the lightning and shadows look natural. I do like it that I finally found a semi-decent way to do lineart, though. Monty's position isn't quite like it was in the episode, and Ron was done without reference, but overall I'm happy with it.
