Perhaps we should start a new thread, where we deep analyze the eps, we could find out a lot of interesting info

Besides the Monique Bonnie interaction, which I found to be very good, did anyone notice that it was only females chasing Heather and Kim? No males whatsoever. One would think that if Heather was the hottie teen-scene actress that she is supposed to be that at least ONE male at Middleton High would chase after her... The slash boards must be running over if they have realized it.

That episode had a lot of slashy moments. I mean, this Erotica Writer watched that episode with her cousins who were between 6 and 16 yesterday and it was hard to contain my being a good kiddo.

I think only a gay guy would chase a diva like Heather without looking like a prick ;D

I think the guys knew they had no chance with her.

I think the guys knew they had no chance with her. That's what I was thinking, and it is the only way to explain why no males were chasing after the two. Or they were thinking dirtier thoughts. (Kim and Heather, hand in hand, running. Kinda gets the male imagination going)

I don't recall them running hand in hand... or maybe I do. I mean, I was kind hoping.
YES! MY DREAM IS COMING TRUE!

Well, all of season 3 and most of season 2 is still around to read.
Guys generally don't flip over movie stars or musicians of either sex the way teenaged girls occasionally do. As a teenager, I loved the Beatles, but I didn't scream at the concert or rush the stage. Wouldn't have rushed Grace Slick or Janis Joplin either.

^- Pretty much... Kim's reaction kinda proves that point (at least, to me it did) when Ron tells her, (going from memory here) "KP, um, I think I know what this is about..."

In "Kimmitation Nation" after the encounter with the Bonnie clones at Bueno Nacho, Monique offers to walk Bonnie home. Now, you can interpret that as either (1) evidence that Monique and Bonnie were on friendly terms already, or (2) this act of kindness on Monique's part allowed she and Bonnie to become friends. But it goes to show how well-constructed the show is that this minor piece of business from two seasons earlier was still impacting on the characters' relationship at this stage of the game.

It is interesting that neither Monique nor Ron seem to share Kim's animosity toward Bonnie.

What the heck? Why are people coming to the conclusion that Monique and Bonnie are friends/friendly? 2. Bonnie and Monique. Have we ever seen these two characters in the same scene before this? Amid the chaos of the Middleton girls treating Heather like it’s 1964 and she’s the Beatles or something, Kim’s friend schemes with her rival to bring Kim and Heather into Club Banana, successfully, and they both get what they want, a chance to hang out with Heather. For those who complain we never see the kinder, gentler Bonnie of “Bonding” again, here she is, seemingly friends with Monique. Aha! Reading between the episodes, we can see why Bonnie goes harsh in “So the Drama.” Remember the movie opener, in which Kim and Monique are discussing Bonnie’s on and off relationship with Brick Flagg? Try this hypothesis on for size: after “Bonding,” Bonnie becomes more friendly with Kim, and Monique (offstage). We glimpse a bit of this in “Molerat.” This all goes sour when Monique and Brick start to like each other. Monique and Brick would get to know each other if Monque and Bonnie hang out together, right? So Bonnie’s anger at Monique would also turn toward Monique’s friend Kim, and— Of course the missing details can only be guessed at, but something like this would explain everything we see about Bonnie in “Bonding” versus Bonnie in “So the Drama”— and “Molerat” provides our only glimpse at what might be happening, and the possible importance of Monique as catalyst. So not. Bonnie already dislikes Kim. She doesn't need Monique to be a catalyst for that. "Seemingly friends with Monique" is right. Monique and Bonnie are not friends. There is little evidence at all to support this idea. After this episode, do we see or hear anything about Monique being friendly with or hanging out with or talking to Bonnie? No. Remember, this is Bonnie, we're talking about. The same girl who sold herself out in "Ron Millionaire". The same girl who went after Hirotaka in "Exchange" while still involved with Brick (which, if you really want to jump to conclusions, may have given Monique the impression that Bonnie wasn't serious about Brick and developed her own interest in him. This would make a lot more sense and would be more consistant with Monique's character). In "CGI", Bonnie is being her opportunistic self once again. To get to meet Heather, Bonnie has go through Kim. What better way to get to Kim than to go to Club Banana, where Kim's other best friend works and knows Kim's habits? Monique would probably have met Heather eventually anyway; she's Kim's girlfriend. Bonnie is not Kim's friend and has to wheedle her way in to see Heather somehow. BTW, Bonnie is not being genuinely friendly to Kim in this episode at all. Look at her face. She's so transparent here, it's strange anyone would read this as anything other than "I really don't like you, but you have something I want, so I'll make an attempt to be 'friendly' and try get on your good side until I get what I want." Notice Kim doesn't buy it for a second. It's "Ron Millionaire" all over again. It is interesting that neither Monique nor Ron seem to share Kim's animosity toward Bonnie. They don't really seem to like her very much either, though, do they? I happened to be re-reading this thread tonight (Disney just repeated "Molerat" and I wanted to see the discussion again) and this statement caught my attention. To answer the question, "Have we seen these two characters (Monique and Bonnie) in the same scene before?", yes we have. Or (3), way too much is being read into Bonnie and Monique's brief interactions. Monique was merely offering help to someone who needed it at the time. Besides, since when does Bonnie appreciate acts of kindness?

Ah ha ha! Now I've just read through this entire thread, which means we get to do this all over again... But first thing first: My theory is that Kim wants Ron to be something she now thinks he'll never be, her boyfriend. He's not boyfriend material, she'll say a little later-- not because of the food chain, not really, but for a sadder reason Kim can't bring herself to voice or even think about, because he doesn't want to be her boyfriend. In fact, all Ron wants to do is be with Kim, but at this point he almost seems to believe that turning back the clock toward childhood will bring back the togetherness he shared with her before puberty raised its nasty head, when Kim turned into a real beauty while Ron remained freckled and funny looking. I don't know why, but that statement struck me as the most profound thing ever... it really triggered something in me. Beautiful, Cloud. Just beautiful... Alright... I'm not going to bother to re-evaluate the entire season, or even StD. Frankly, I don't have the time and saintly patience required. Furthermore, I would only be echoing what many people, particularly Cloud, have already stated quite eloquently and with solid evidence. So, just a couple things I was thinking about when going through this thread. (A couple of these might contradict each other... but... ::shrug: : Very briefly, I think the most telling evidence of Kim's feelings towards Ron was the black dress she wore to Middleton Days. Granted, she was moodulator influenced, but I don't think that necessarily means she has to pick out the most revealing outfit in her closet. Also, because this is the only time I've ever seen her dress like this. (Not counting the outfit she wore to the Bermuda Triangle. But, that was an undercover disguise, so no big.) She never wore anything like that for Mankey, or any other possible boy that was in her life. Even her prom dress, although beautiful and elegant, is nothing like this dress she wore just for Ron. I have to agree that by this point in the series, moodulator or not, Kim already had it in her head that she wanted Ron to notice her. And she made sure she got noticed... However, here's a minor contradiction that has been bugging me. She has this battle suit, which she has never used. But, as soon as Erik is kidnapped, that makes her pissed enough to bust this thing out and lay the extreme smackdown? As Erik said himself, "I didn't know you cared that much." I mean, sure, this was Drakken's best plan ever, but I still feel the super suit (althought super awesome) wasn't really necessary to defeat him. However, she whips this suit out just for Erik. I mean, I have a feeling if Ron had been in a dire sitch, she would have done the same for him... but the only evidence I have available right now is that the possible injury of Erik was the one thing that truly made her go ballistic and want to kick some ass. It bothers me a little bit, so maybe someone can help reconcile it for me... Ok, very quickly back to Ron... anyone else consider Kim's references to Ron as "potential boy" could extend to "potential boyfriend"? That just popped into my head... And, since we seem to be on the subject of Monique... I have a Monique pondery, too. Who did she go to the prom with? She was warming up to Brick at the dance, but I didn't see her there with anyone. You're telling me Monique, the Monique, went stag? Or was it all a plan to make herself available and make some moves on Brick...? ...they kiss. ;D But take a closer look at them just before they kiss. It's open mouthed! Did Kim slip Ron the toungue? Did Ron do it to Kim? I don't know, and it doesn't really mater. The end. OH. MY. GOD! How did I not notice that before!? I quite literally fell out of my chair. (I'm serious. You all should have been here to see it. It put any clumsiness Ron has ever exhibited to shame. )
