Whether they wait or not, it's gonna be one great night of passion. As for my personal opinion, they are obviously deeply in love, so why wait until the some outside entity recognizes them as in love, aka a church. Kim's a take charge kind of girl, and Ron will definitely follow her lead into the bedroom. And the first booyah, while naked... Ah booyah! ;D Seriously you have not been here long according to your post count but you are already one of my favorite posters. Seriously that's well said.

Personally, I think they wound up going all the way by the end of the last episode. By the time we were watching the villains in the coffee shop, K and R, were going at it like rabbits in the back seat.

You could definitely make the case for that. I mean, they left a rockin' party rather early, and flew off in to quite a romantic moonlit night, in what appeared to be a move designed to get them some alone time. Let us not forget that they kissed for 5-6 seconds, at least, they were still kissing when they faded from view. I feel that even the most ardent supporter of waiting 'til marriage would have to agree that they were rounding second base and sliding into third at that point. Not much of a stretch to think they were going all the way that night. The question does remain, would that have been their first time, going that far?

^^ Wait? Cos they kissed for 5+ seconds that means they're rounding second- goin' to third? 5 seconds?....That's abrupt.
5 second isn't THAT long, lol.
If that's how it went down then who'ever put the moves on needs to learn a lesson on being subtle <3

I believe that they are both mature enough to know to wait until they are a little older before they start thinking about that stuff, but if the right time comes, and they both feel comfortable, then I believe they will go for it.

Really, it's a matter of their self control. Do you guys think Kim and Ron have the self control to wait for marage?

Really, it's a matter of their self control. Do you guys think Kim and Ron have the self control to wait for marage? I think they do. That's really not what it's about though imo. They can wait and I go back and fourth on this. Neither one of them will ever be with anyone else. It's not like either has experience in the subject either. So there will not be any awkwierdness in that since. It will only be awkwierd a little because they have known each other for so long and for the longest time they were only friends but now they have been going out a little over a year. They both Love each other. So in my view it does not matter if they wait or not. As long as you love the person and they are you're soulmate and you will be with them forever I don't think you can go wrong with either waiting till marriage or not waiting. I mean they can't live without each other. They are going to get married eventually. Kim's mom is a nurse and she could get on the pill very easily. They won't have to worry about STDs so no condoms will be needed. Thats my view. Theres no wrong answer.

Actually, condoms are the best conception control. And they don't have about 50 side-effects either.

I think Kim and Ron can control themselves, Kim's got the moral values that make waiting not OOC, and Ron respects Kim. So if Kim thinks it's wrong to have sex before marriage, they'll wait.
And you can probably guess my opinion of birth control...

As for the condom issue- why don't you settle it with your sources? I'm sure that those will help clear up your differences in opinion in that department.

Back on topic The concept of saving one's self for marriage, is an old religious practice. Which has become less prevalent with each passing year. Most religions, have progressive sects, aka Anglican and Protestant from Christianity, and Reconstructionalist Judaism. They majority of Christians and Jews, fall under this heading. Since about the 1970s pre-marital sex has been accepted as normal human behavior in these faiths. Since Kim and Ron, nor their families, don't seem very religious, it is likely that they fall in this category. So I do not think they will have any moral objection to any relations they might have. It's not like they just met. Heck, they've practically lived together for 13 years, I'd say that they have taken their time already. And given the intensity of their feelings for one another, if it hasn't occurred already, it probably won't be long until they do make love. My facts and info were obtained at this site en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_and_sexuality

Because of the obvious and deep love they both have for each other, them making love is just fine with me.
