Okay folks, normally this would be in anouther category, but this is fic related.
I'm drawing a complete blank on what Kim would be interested in studying in college for my on-going series. For months, I could never come up with something she would want to study. All the others came easily to me, but not Kim.
So, I've decided to make this an open poll, and let the readers decide. YOU will get to decide what Kim wants to do and study in my fanfiction series. This will affect the entire on-going storyline. The winning response will be announced in chapter 11 of Recovery.
Make your vote count!

Within my fanon fanfiction series of stories, I have a later timeline in which Kim is in her 30s, 40s, and even 50s. She's with GJ, but still doing the freelance hero thing. Later on, she's director of GJ. But, that's me.

She's still going to do the hero thing, that's not in question. I have the next 10 stories planned, and what she's studying won't affect that. But what would she study? Given a choice, what would she look at? After all, Ron's going to open a restaurant, but he'll still be doing the hero thing (nice perk of being the boss). I just can't for the life of me figure out what she would want to take in college though.

I see here going the international studies route. The whole save the world through our words not our fist type thing. After all we know she's very much into saving the environment (SSS first introduction comes to mind) and those type like to go into diplomacy. As for an actual job that's a hard one. Maybe running for a political office using her hero status or joining up with the state department. She might even become an intern for one our Senators and we get to read the news story about how said senator had his arm broken when he 'fell' down the stairs. This is a hard one though so it's up to you.
As for personal writing experience I've so far given her two jobs. One as a military pilot and the other as a Princess. I doubt either would work out well for your story. That's life. ;D

A Princess? That kind of reminds me of The Breakfast Club. I ought to watch that movie again.

In my fics, I've got her working on her Masters in International Diplomacy (while Ron puts her through Grad school!) so I've gotta go with what makes the most sense to me.

Yeah, I've already gone the princess route. That's Impossible Love. Kinda think something different than that would work best here.

While I don't think she would be able to handle an actual career in law enforcement, I could see Kim studying Administration of Justice/Criminal Justice in college.

I say Medicine since she was in a coma for six month she should go into medicine and help find a way to help people get out of comas faster. Calamite

Kim wasn't in a coma for six months. That never happened. Unless something happened that I don't know about?

I really can't see her going directly into what either of her parents do, it has to be something that fits what she does. I also see her more as a Jack-of-all-trades rather than any kind of specialist.

She was in a coma for 6 months in my storyline, after a fight with Monkey Fist. It happened in Bonnie's Curse, the first story I wrote (which automatically meant my series was continuing). She woke up at the beginning of Recovery, the third main story in my series, which takes place near the end of their senior year, with Kim catching up. She just got out of the hospital in the chapter I posted today.
I do too, and that's why I had so much trouble trying to figure out what she would study in college. So, I listed all the major occupations I've seen her do (in more than one fic), and put it to a poll. It won't affect my story ideas too much, whichever way it goes, but it will affect them greatly after the ones I've got in mind (did I say this was going to be a long series?).

I've put some thought to this. I mostly defaulted down to either something that was global or law enforcement, but I never really thought Kim would join with Global Justice. It seemed to confining for her. After reading your latest chapter I came to the conclusion of her being a teacher. She's good with kids, Tweebs excluded, help the youth learn and with all of her experiences she can really hold their attention. I still see her doing the freelance hero thing, quite simliar to how another particular adventure hero goes about it, Indian Jones.
